Hey guys, this is my 4th grow, my last one is about 1,5 years ago. Its the 4th time this deficiency is coming up... so I guess its not a incidence. If you ask me Id say its a magnesium or nitrogen deficiency. Could be my water, its very hard... so maybe it blocks something? pls h

Magnesium availability begins to taper off below 6.0 pH. If you're growing in coco you should be using calmag. Check your pH and make sure it's around 6ish / 6.2. I like 6.2 personally. I feel it's the sweet spot in coco. Coco tends to ride around the pH dial so monitor regularly. For a quick fix add some epsom salts to your next watering. But be sure your pH isn't low first. If low, adjust. If not low, add epsom salts to your watering, or better yet, get a bottle of calmag and start using it regularly. Epsom salts will fix a magnesium issue pretty quickly.

It definitely does look like magnesium deficiency to me. Hard water actually usually has a lot of magnesium and calcium in it. Maybe you still are short on it though through not enough in your nutrients. That or maybe your ph isn’t at a good level for the magnesium to be taken up. 6-7 is best. Overwatering or cold temps can also cause problems with magnesium.
