I’m running another NL because the idea of running out of it makes me anxious. It’s the only strain that magically works wonders for me. Every time I run out, months later I get more, and I remember why it’s my favorite strain. It’s like it was made for me. Just sampled MSNL’s Northern Storm Auto, and it’s some of the best NL I’ve ever had. StAnds to reason that the photoperiod should be the same, if not better.
So this one is much more vigorous than the last. I should be able to get his girl pretty big before flowering time. Might even take a cutting or three.
Final week of veg. I defoliated and stuck her in the flower tent right after these pics were taken. Much different structure than my other one. It’ll be interesting to see the difference in smoke.
Week one of flower. Different structure from her sister. I’m digging it. I’m anticipating more stretch. It’s sitting in a very small layer of supersoil, but I will be giving nutrients soon.
Alternating food and water. She’s the last plant I had PH issues with my soil and nutes together. Caused some crispy leaves. But all the growth afterward looks nice.
7.5 weeks into flower. Getting closer. I’ll start flushing soon. It’s nice knowing I’ve got a bunch more Northern Lights to harvest soon. I just jarred the other one today.
She’s just been getting water. I’ll be harvesting soon. Probably this weekend. Or mid next week. I loved the last one. Maybe this one is a little more sativa dominant.
@spacetaste, Thank you for the kind words! And you’re very welcome! I love this platform. Any time I’m uncertain of growing a strain, I check diaries here first. It’s so helpful. Especially when it is a grower I trust. 😄
