Well that choice is entirely up to you . If your a first time grower I might suggest that try doing them in a soiless mix first , the reason I say this is because hydroponics arent as forgiving and that if you make a mistake you will be able to correct without any major damages . As were in a hydroponic system if mistakes are made it can be really bad and not only that but instead of affecting 1 plant it will affect all the plants your growing at that time . There are various systems you can get for hydroponics my suggestion to you if your determined to go that route is to either get DWC or an actual hydroponics table . If you chose the table you will want to consider having enough space because they are kinda bulky . Another thing I will suggest is that you go and get yourself a PH meter this way you can adjust the PH of your water accordingly when the time comes . In soiless mix you want it to be around 6.3 6.5 and in a hydroponics set up you would want it at around 5.7 5.8. The reason i say this is because the PH plays a big part of how your plant uptakes nutrients , cannabis plants like a slightly more acid medium in order to prosper and flourish . I hope this information serves you well on your cannabis journey ! -Happy Growing!
