vovaTHEKUSHMASTER The seed sprouted 17.11.2018, which means it took 4 days. For those who are interested in additional info, I keep constant VPD value of 0.62kPa to 0.91kPa. The LEDs are set to Veg mode and are being kept exactly as manufacturer suggests or 90-100 cm. (35-40 inches) away from the plant during the seedling stage. The temperature is within 20-22 Celsius during the day and 16-18 during the night. I set the light schedule to 20/4 hours of light, because I want to achieve maximum vegetative activity.
vovaTHEKUSHMASTER 10.12.18 - I lowered the height of the LEDs to 60cm (23 inches) above canopy. Currently running at low power (Veg. switch only), which is 368W actual power draw. Soon to be transplanted into final pot.
15.12.18 - Repoted in final container - Air-Pot 20L. I applied foliar spray with liquid worm castings in order to help root structuring and nutrient absorbation after repoting. Also i added many strains of bennies, using GENI's Activator. I used Bio Bizz Acti-Vera with watering, again in order to help the roots. I also lowered the EC to 1.4 and the pH to 5.8.
17.12.18 - The plant is growing very well! I start thinking about toping anytime next week. I have extra 20 cm. in grow height (2.20m.) so maybe i would like to wait for the 8th or even 9th node before toping, but we'll see. I will keep low-to-medium dosage of nutrients. The temp is always around 24C. during daytme and 20-ish during the nights. RH is 50-55%.
vovaTHEKUSHMASTER I plan to give 60 veg days under 18/6 light cycle. I keep medium EC (2.00), medium temp 25/20C day/night and medium to low RH (40-50%). Ev
Every couple of days i apply foliar spray based on 100% organic compounds. For instance, this week i apply organic iron fertilizer combined with garden grade epsom salts (pure organic cal-mag supplement), then, a few days later, i applied liquid worm castings. I always use never more than 75% of the recommended dosages. I plan to switch to flowering close to the end of the January. If any questions, feel free to contact me. Peace!

vovaTHEKUSHMASTER As soon as she reaches week 8 (17.01.19) of vegetative grow and i am putting this beauty into flowering. I give a lot of magnesium, a lot of calcium and iron.

vovaTHEKUSHMASTER Well, after 60 days of careless veg grow, this beauty is now flowering, counting today. Currently, I am flushing the substrate. I am planning to use Canna Coco nutrients, plus their recommended additives.
vovaTHEKUSHMASTER After nice flush, i start adding nutrients, enzymes and aloe vera based supplement in order to boost the health and add some organic nutrients to the substrate.
vovaTHEKUSHMASTER Still stretching a bit, but gradually she is spending time making buds. I already see the very first trichomes, but there is almost no smell yet. I start adding half dosage of bloom booster and 25% of PK. I plan to increase them slowly, since i don't want any nutrient problems. I have big surprise for my ladies, which all of you will notice.
vovaTHEKUSHMASTER I made few but major equipment upgrades. I added water filtration system, additional 345W LED and I increased the air extraction capabilities. Now this beauty receives 1035W full spectrum LED light and I achieved full RH and temp control. I expect heavy harvest.
vovaTHEKUSHMASTER This beauty just passed week 4 of flowering. Stretching came to a complete halt, so all energy is concentrated in producing buds. Strong side branching. Trichomes are increasing rapidly. So far the plant is doing well with the provided feeding schedule, so i am increasing the nutrients level, but slowly.
vovaTHEKUSHMASTER Flowering is at full speed. Buds are thickening and increasing by hour. More and more trichomes are developing which makes the odor much and much pungent. Since i am so satisfied by this strain sample and how it grows, i decided to give her extra special treat. Instead of giving the regular nutrients and additives i made her the following 'cocktail': in 10 liters of water i dissolved high quality garden grade Epsom salts (magnesium sulfate) for extra calcium and magnesium, then i added BioBizz's aloe-vera based supplement Acti Vera (it is packed with quality organic nutrients and more), then i also added quality humic and fulvic acids (this i do to increase the chelation, which improves the nutrient uptake and boosts the microbiological life in substrate). All this i ph-ed at 5.9 with organic citric acid. EC was 2.4 but it should be noted that the EC meters can't measure all organic nutrients, and this is purely organic cocktail. I've discussed with one of the breeders professionals exactly how much EC this strain could take without nutrient peoblems, and I've been told that i shoud stick around 2.4 (because of its sativa dominance). I am going to listen to him and i wouldn't exceed that value.
vovaTHEKUSHMASTER This mighty weed is flowering with cosmic speed! Thick, heavy colas are sticking like spikes! The buds are fattening evenly, producing a gazillion of trichomes, which are releasing strong and intense smell. This week i brought back the regular feeding schedule, but i slightly increased the PK. Solution pH is 5.5. I've measured the runoff water's pH and EC - pH was 6.2, which is in absolute limits for coco. EC was 2.65, which is 0.25 more than that, of the nutrient solution - also within the acceptable limits. When the last weeks come closer i will boost the ventilation system to its max speed which will decrease the RH under 40%. This monster is super stable hybrid and the Zamnesia fellas really done their job, breeding this strain. I really hope to push the THC over 27% and Plagron's Sugar Royal is really helping me!
vovaTHEKUSHMASTER The specimen is in full flowering, fattening its buds progressively and releasing really strong aroma. We experienced slight nutrient build up, but we reacted immediately and the problem was solved in the matter of days. Because of the low temperature that we keep, the plant started to show colors. Soon the RH will be lowered as much as our equipment would allow. Since we did a little overfeed and there is plenty of nutrients in the substrate, we give only water with enzymes and humics in order to lower the salt build-up. We pushed the EC to 2.75, because we wanted to see how the plant would have react and the result was nutrient burn, which followed to discoloring on certain places. Thankfully because of the quick response the plant didn't suffer further stress and even regained some of the discoloration. Strong sativa dominance is occurring, which could strech the flowering weeks a bit more than expected.
Actually my very first use of Sugar Royal, indeed gave me that problem. My personal approach when the harvest could be seen behind the corner is to progressively star decreasing the nutrients. When the very last couple of weeks are at hand i flush really good, using flushing solution. Never had any problems ever since...
Have you been using Sugar Royal in other grows? I stopped using it bcs it didnt flush good and my nugs ended burning black and tasting weird. Normally i dont have this issue. I like to hear your experience :)
