After germination in a moist paper towel for 48 hours, the seedling was planted in a Jiffy, where it spent another 24 hours. After a total of 72 hours, the cotyledons had already appeared, prompting the seedling to be transplanted once again directly into the 10-liter fabric pot.
On day 8, the plant got another 800 milliliters of water. Temperatures are a little bit high with up to 28°C due to a heatwave in Germany currently but the climate controlled inline fan is keeping temperatures below 26 most of the time. A small pc fan is giving a little bit of wind in the tent but not directly on the plant.
The water consumption rise significantly since last week. The plant is watered now every 3-4 days with one liter of water. High temperatures and loser humidity are still present, even though not as bad as before. I put the light today to 80% (40 watts) and increased the nutrition dosis nearly to the recommended level by Canna, since the plant is developing faster than expected.
This week, the plant first showed female sex characteristics by developing its pistils. According to my current knowledge, this marks the beginning of the pre-flowering stage, followed by a stretch period where the plant requires more growth nutrients. The stretch started this week, as the plant grew from 13 to 30 cm. The lamp will remain at 80% power for now, as it provides an average PPFD value of 550.
In this grow, aside from using a SCROG net if needed during flowering, I will not apply any other training techniques, since this is my first grow and I do not want to unnecessarily harm the automatic plant.
This week will probably be the last week of growth, as the plant has maintained its strong stretch and has more than doubled in size from 30 to 70cm since last week. The buds are now clearly visible, which is why I will be switching to flowering fertilizer from next week. A very beautiful flower canopy has developed, with the top bud standing out strongly in height. Apart from a scrog net, I do not use any other training techniques.
No major updates. Plant grows as expected. In the upper parts I found yellow leave tips which could indicate light potassium shortage. Could be also due to an to early and high dosis of PK13/14, which is why I stopped adding this nutrition by end of week 6. Apart from that, plant looks great and smells amazing.
Nothing mentionable happend. Plant entered its last life phase and I expect harvest in 7 to 10 days. Thats why I start by only adding Cannazym and Boost to the water to wash out remaining minerals.
Plant is in late flowering stage as seen by the color changes in the leaves. The purple touch of the leaves around the head bud surprised my, since climate is pretty hot right now. Apart from that the trichomes are still cloudy (also a few clear left) and only about 5% start to be brown so I guess it will take about another week until harvest but I will see.
