At the beginning of the week she showed a lot of nutrients deficiencies, this is when i decided it is a good time to feed her with 4 grams of slow release all purpose fertilizer (20-20-20) in two doses with a spacing of 2 days in between! Also i decided to cut down some of the sub colas that i deemed to be a waste of energy on the plant!

She seems to be thankful for the feeding i had provided the previous week. During the whole week i watched her recover. At the end of the week i added another 2 grams of fertilizer and hopefully it is going to be the last time she needs feeding until harvest! She started giving out some good smells, i can describe its smell as having hints of coffee and chocolate! Leaves started getting frosty and she damn looks hot like this!

Week 8 has officially started and i decided to take the plant away from LEDs just to take some cool clean pictures of her. She seems to be growing healthy and enjoying life! Just a friendly reminder this is a micro growing operation, the plant is still around 15-18 cm tall, i manage to keep her short by applying daily LST, and selective defoliation, proving that YES, hindu kush automatic can be grown to be short and dense!

Week 9 has just started. Buds are starting to form, a few leaves have curled down which i think is due to the a bit excessive amount of nutrients i added a couple of days ago but i do not worry about it. Over all my girl seems to be doing fine and the amount of colas i have created i think are excellent considering the size of the pot that she resides in! Looking forward to an amazing week 9! A small side note is that her smell is starting to fill in the air!!! On Day 58 it was the day of her weekly barber day, cut down a few leaves that were in the way of her flowers, hopefully i will be seeing some more growth of flowers now in the lower levels of the plant!

Should I or shouldn't I feed her one last time with nutrients? I think she needs another 2 weeks until harvest.

I can see some of the tips are burned on your plant so that tells me there's LOTS left in the medium to use . I wouldn't feed her anymore nutrients . I would just get ready to give her a good flushing and then harvest . You wanna flush because you want your flowers to taste clean and not full of chemicals . I hope you find this information helpful on your quest to the finish line ! Keep up the great work ! Good luck on your future grow's . -Happy Growing!

Getting closer to harvest day and i truly cannot wait any longer! She hasn't been fed with nutrients since the ending of week 8, i can spot a few yellowish leaves but nothing dramatic! I am hoping that the buds during this week will get bigger! Pistils started to turn orange, a close inspection to the trichromes they seem to be transparent still! The smell is getting stronger and potent! On day 69 i harvested the main cola of the plant, the other 5 colas still need another 1 week give or take before they are ready! Pictures of the main cola will be uploaded with the rest, when all of the plant is harvested! Day 70, last day of week 10, she seems to be doing just fine and the cut down of the main cola has had a minimal effect on the rest of the sub-colas. Looking forward to a great week 11, during which i expect that the remaining 5 colas will gain a significant size and potency. I added a little bit of 20-20-20 about a gram or 2 just to make sure that she will make it through the remaining of her life cycle!

Entering what i think to be the last week of flowering, but if she feels like growing a bit more i will give her more days. So far, i harvested the main cola because 90% of its pistils turned orange. The other 5 colas still got time to grow! Beginning the week a picture of each of the 5 colas that are still on her! Looking forward to an amazing week full of potent smells! I find it cool that i have managed to keep her height just under 24cm, i don't know about you! :P Harvested towards the end of day 76 from seed

What is the best indication for me that she is ready to harvest given that i do not have a good magnifying glass to observe the trichromes? So far i was thinking that if 70-80% of pistils turn orange on a bud its a sign that its time to harvest the cola.

Hello ! Yes you'r method is the right old school one to harvest without loupe or magnifier , 70% / 80% amber pistils is the good ratio to target. Well the answer was in you question 😁👍

Over all the growing was smooth, in the future once a plant shows me some deficiencies i will immediately address it, since i believe the reason i got so small buds it was because it is an auto-flower strain and for 2 weeks was begging for nutrients and i didnt give it to her she lost precious time during which she should have been developing its first buds. The strain i was amazed by how easily adaptable it was, and how easily she recovered from everything i threw out on her. I am hoping that the next diary with the same strain will be even better because of the experience i gained from this first one. Also another issue as to why i think my buds got so small is the fact that ever since day 24 i had roots coming out of my very small pot which as well i think should have something to do with my small buds. Definitely addressed the issue to the new diary by planting in a double the size of my first grows' pot. This is definitely a great strain for a noob to learn on! All you need is some decent lighting and she will keep her size small! p.s. During the last stages of flowering she got really sticky and frosty all over her flowers and the remaining leafs i let grow on her. Now, almost 2 weeks after the harverst her weight droped by 1/3, Her final weight was 11.2g from 19.1.
