Started another round on Oct 28th. Going to do 4 J-Hova Jack (Jack Harer X '91 God Bud). Going to do this round completely in the 2x2x4 tent.
Day 8: Started 25% week 1.
Day 14: Started 100% feeding.
Day 18 Update: added 2 pictures.
Transplanted the babies in to 1 gal fabric pots and started week 2 feeding this week. I got one that has been insistent on climbing out of the coco. Buried it deeper on this transplant, hopefully it makes it. Ran out of distilled and tried misting with tap water. Won't do that again. One now has some spots and the others look worse for wear. Lesson learned.
Started the week off, by topping 3 plants at the 3rd node. But then we had a few problems this week. Had a power outage for a good chunk of the plants day cycle. Got by with the little bit of sunlight in the living room. But between the lack of light, sub-55 temp and humidity spike, it brought the demons out of the plants. I have no idea what is the issue but they don't look great. But we will try to save them and see what happens.
The plants seem to be recovering well from the power outage last week. Started to get them shaped up for flower with some LST. I'm quite pleased with how they are shaping up. The runt is still chugging away, I'll give it one thing, it's a hardy plant.
Another week of veg done for the J-Hovas. Gave them another round of LST. They are filling out nicely. The runt is slowly plugging away, if nothing else it will have a fair bit of stress.
The plants stretched out a bit this week. 2 of them showed pistils, so we atleast got a few girls. The other has shown no signs of sex yet, and the runt is the runt. All them had the LST adjusted. Good week, I guess.
Another week of veg down. The girls that were heavily LST bounced back well. Still no sign from the 3rd one or the runt. Be nice if they would show their sex this week. Also cut back on the Rapidstart until next transplant.
Last week of veg for the 2 ladies. They will be moving to the flower tent in a few days. Still no sign of sex from the other 2. Had to kinda punish the runt this week and tuck it in under another one of the plants. It will be nice to get some room in the tent. Then we can puzzle out what we are going to do with the other 2.
2 of the girls moved in to the flower tent this week. The other 2 are female as well. Going to transplant the bigger one in a few days. Haven't decided what I want to do with the runt yet, might mother it for next outdoor season. Other than that full speed ahead.
Got the last girl transplanted to a 3 gal and in the flower tent. Gave her a nasty shot of high stress just as an experiment. Be interested to see how it develops. The other 2 are developing a nice canopy. Definitely better than the last round. Started all 3 of the plants on silica this week. Hopefully we can avoid the floppy stems from last round.
Another week down. Started to do final defoliation this week. Hopefully we can develop a nice canopy. Looks good so far. The girl that got a rough start to flower seems to be recovered. Sporting some nasty scars from it though.
Another week down for the girls. Looks like it is going to be a staggering harvest. I'm fine with that. Some nice looking bud sites are starting to develop. The smell is just starting to develop and become unique.
Another week in the books for the girls. Going to give the outside 2 their last round of defoliation. One in the middle has 1 more round left. Hopefully this is the end of the stretch. Otherwise things are business as usual.
Another week of flower down for the girls. One seems to be finishing up right quick. Looking like its going to be a week or so between each plant come harvest. Other then that everything looks good in the flower tent.
The J-hova girls just keep chugging along. They are making up some nice fat buds from the looks of it. The God Bud is definitely doing it's part. Really pleased with this round so far.
Getting closer to the end for the girls. Im going to say 2-3 weeks til chop for 2 of them and maybe a month for the other. Really nice fat buds are starting to pop out and they are getting a nice little rainbow effect with their fall colors.
Last stint for the J-Hovas group. I'd say the middle one will start flush tomorrow with the one on the right a few days behind. The last girl should be fine in about a week.
Another nice week of bulking for the J-Hovas. The colorful one is on its last day of flush. Going to chop it tomorrow. The other one that is really falling over on the right is starting flush tomorrow as well. Probably got another week or two on the last one, but it will be worth it. Really nice smelling crop as well. Can't wait to try it.
Down to 2 this week. They have definitely fallen prey to structural failure. Another one of the girls will be coming down in the next day or two. The last girl will be starting flush on Saturday. I think we will switch to drippers and scrog next round.
Just finishing up flush on the last girl, definitely saved the best for last. She is a beauty and smells amazing. The other 2 are drying as we speak, looking like it should be a good haul.
Yet another great strain from Jah seeds. Amazing daytime smoke, really comparable to straight Jack Harer. Really earthy sweet smell, just all around a good strain.
Another round in the books. All three plants are now dried and jarred. Over 230g of nice bud and 2 latge freezer bags of popcorn and trim. This grow finished up really well and threw out some great colors. Really pleased with this round.
