Fed and watered on Tuesday and Friday. Drinking well and growing FAST. Double the size of the 2 other strains I started at the same time. Fed with Fox Farm Soil schedule week 1 blend. Self-watering reservoirs mostly emptied by Monday and soil dried out well from healthy feeding on Friday. Turned up the lights and reset height from 12" to 16" as we move well into veg.
Growing well. Fed and watered on Tuesday. Sitting a little over 3 inches tall right now, bushy and healthy. Will skip top feed on Friday to let it dry out a bit.
Growing well in week 5, flowering has started nicely, lots of bud sites. Cleaned self-watering base and flushed and it seems a little slower to drink since but some rooth growth in the wicks so it's definitely drinking.
This monster just keeps growing. Dwarfing the Critical Kush that's in the tent with it, running tight on room at the top. Should have done some LST but after the dwarf I got with the first run I was resigned to go far more hands off this time. As expected, a middle ground will work best but lessons for next grow. Added some extra cal mag to deal with looks like a calcium deficiency to my noob eye. We'll see how it goes
Kicked the Critical Kush out to let the Lemon AK have the tent to itself to finish. Tall, strong, some yellow leaves think it might be a ph issue, flushing a bit and continuing to trim and monitor, it's not widespread and the plant is otherwise healthy.
Did a little trim and LST on day 48 to help it take up the extra space that is suddenly available.
Another week down, progressing, just starting to show some orange'ing up on the hairs. Stressed it a little with a bit of a crack in the main stem w/ some LST that wasn't so L but it seems to be superficial enough.
Into week 9! Flowers starting to turn the corner with orange hairs starting to multiply. Just fresh, clean filtered water now as we try to learn from a bit of overfeeding earlier.
Getting close!! Chopped a bunch of used up leaves off, took some microscope shots yesterday, got a boom arm coming so I don't have to rely on my steady hand for the microscope shots but still looks cloudy/clear w/o an amber to be seen when looking at the trichomes as of Monday. Pistils are still mostly white but rapidly advancing. Fastbuds advertises a chop day between 63 and 70 so we're in the window and heading in the right direction. A chop before the end of the week is possible.
Harvested and in the tent to dry up and cure for the next few weeks. Happy with the result we'll see what the final weight is. Smells great and strongly with lemon verbeena notes.
I can't add the final weight but it's 148g, very happy with it, finishing curing now but gave it a little taste test this evening and it's absolutely delicious, very lemony.
