Mr_Green79 Since I now have space in my drying cabinet for 8 weeks, I put a Cream Mandarine in here.

Mr_Green79 Everything is wonderful. Next week I will prune them. Roots are growing very well. pH value doesn't fluctuate too much. Homemade hydro container with an oxygen pump and a capacity of 3 liters..

Mr_Green79 Very nice growth with the Mandarin cream.
The trimming went smoothly. I have now bent the side shoots outward with banding clips.
She handled it well.

Mr_Green79 Oh wow... after 22 days, there are the first signs of flowers. I just filled the tank 2 days ago.
So, quick switch to bloom nutrients...
Everything else is going wonderfully.. I removed the large side leaves today.
About the grow cabinet
I sealed my old living room cabinet with silicone and converted it into a drying cabinet with exhaust and filter.
Since I currently don't have a harvest, I thought instead of it sitting around uselessly, it's now a small grow cabinet..
The light is just a 25-watt grow light from Amazon. To get more red/blue spectrum, I added 2 USB grow lights that run for 6 hours to mimic a gentle sunrise.
In about a week, I will add a second 25-watt light and work with some black light/blue three weeks before the end for higher UV radiation..

Mr_Green79 Yeah, the Mandarin Cream is growing at least 5 cm a day now. A lot of buds have formed. I've set the EC value to 1200. The plant drinks 0.9 liters a day, and I refill the tank every day with about a liter at an EC value of 1087. Increasing B52, Big Bud, and Tasty Terp. I have no experience with autoflowers and only knew that they can't handle stress during the flowering phase.. That's why I didn't do any defoliation.. I'll defoliate a bit 3 weeks before harvest... But I need to focus more on the flowering time.. or keep a closer eye on it through comparisons here online. I've seen breeders with the Cream Mandarin who had a 14-week flowering time.. or let them bloom that long.. and not the 9 weeks as stated and done... But the results were really top-notch with the others.. let's see...

Mr_Green79 The cream Mandarin is my first autoflowering one..
In terms of growth, it reminds me a bit of plants from back in the day.. like 20 years ago when I did my first grow, just much faster...
Otherwise, everything is going pretty well..
I had little time this week and couldn't prepare a new nutrient solution yet. During the day, it drinks about 900 ml...

Mr_Green79 Had little time last week.
Today I hung up my Sanlight because my Peanut is done.
The old lamp had only 45 watts, the Sanlight now has 140 watts.
I think it will be ready in 2 weeks.
Day 66
Today I cut off all the leaves that cover the buds.
I've been trying to lower the temperature the whole time, but without success.
But tomorrow I will flush.

Mr_Green79 After I flushed with Canna Flush and osmosis water for a week, I didn't give her any more water until all the buds drooped down.
Since the temperature is quite high, I just hung the whole plant up so that the humidity can escape more slowly.
I had this plant as a test to see how an autoflower grows. At first, I only used a 25-watt lamp for the first 4 weeks, then for 3 weeks I had it on for 8 hours at 25 watts, then 10 hours at 60 watts, and in the last 2 weeks, 120 watts, but also dimmed to 70%.
Electricity consumption costs:
30 days at 25 watts for 18 hours - 13.5 kWh
21 days at 25 watts for 8 hours - 4.2 kWh
21 days at 60 watts for 8 hours - 12.6 kWh
14 days at 70 watts for 18 hours - 17.64 kWh on average with daylight cycle
70 days fan at 5 watts for 24 hours - 8.5 kWh
70 days exhaust at 15 watts for 24 hours - 25 kWh
Total consumption for the grow is 81.44 kWh
At a price of 0.37 cents per kWh, that's a total expense of just under 30 euros.
And the hydro system was just a 2-liter canister with an aquarium air stone.
