PlantBasedCookie In this report, I will be talking about the Quick One and Special Queen #1 from Royal Queen Seeds.
Unfortunately, the Quick Ones arrived much later, so out of impatience, I went ahead and planted the SQ1. That's why it's already quite ahead, which shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Special Queen #1:
The Special Queen #1 has been growing for about two weeks and is more of an experiment. It will be kept in the vegetative phase for the entire lifespan of the Quick Ones and then sent into flowering on a 12/12 schedule after harvest - at least that's the plan for now. If it happens to die along the way, that would be a shame, but not too big of a deal for now.
In the weeks since germination, I've already learned quite a bit:
The lamp is currently running at 50 watts with a 30 cm distance. I set it to 100 watts once, and the little plant didn't like it at all. So I turned the light intensity back down. Also, early repotting should be approached more cautiously or not at all, as I probably damaged the root(s) during the process. But this is definitely better than being in the (probably) overly fertilized tomato soil that I used out of necessity (impatience) because the BioBizz Light Mix hasn't arrived yet.
Quick One:
The seeds were germinated in water and were put into the 11-liter final pots today. A little water on top, and now I just have to wait and see until they show themselves. I'm really curious how many weeks they will take until harvest, how big they will get, and if I will even have enough space in the tent with 4 plants.

PlantBasedCookie The plants are growing on their own. I water them occasionally when the soil gets dry and have added a small amount of BioBizz Grow to the water. I set the lamp to 100 watts (50%) at a distance of 40 cm.
The Special Queen was topped today (07.05.2024) since it is already quite ahead of the Quick Ones. Maybe it was too early, I'll see.

The first Quick One was tied down too early, that doesn't work like that.
The second one was topped and seems to be doing quite well.
The third one was tied down and has a pretty even canopy.

PlantBasedCookie The plants have been defoliated, I hope the Automatics don't have any issues because of that. They still have a good week until they should slowly start to pre-flower.
Unfortunately, I can't get the temperature under control without affecting the humidity too much. During the 18 hours of light, the humidity is around 50% at 30 degrees. During the dark phase (during the day), both regulate to 60% humidity at 24 degrees. The light has been increased to 150 watts.
All in all, I'm quite satisfied with how things are going.
Update on Quick One 2: Apparently, it's Fimming and not Topping, something must have gone wrong there. I hope the shoots still turn out strong.

Why defoliate 3 week old plants??
What for??
ALL of the plants energy to grow and thrive is made by the leaves.
The amount of defoliation you did has probably reduced your potential and slowed the plants too.
If you are unsure, it is better to ask first then act, not act then ask if it is ok!
Less leaves = less energy being made = less potential growth........it is that simple!
I would never defoliate autos.

leaves capture light. visualize the canopy before compared to now. which has greater surface area of leaves captruing light? Drastically different? then you removed WAY too many leaves. I don't care what label some mope slapped on it like "mainlining" or whatever, lol.. you can do all the things mainlining requires without removing 2/3rds of your canopy.
unles you are growing a very short plant, none of those early nodes will produce a good bud anyway and likely pruned off later. Leaves receiving light at this point is 10x more important than light hitting a so-called budsite or axillary branch. If you see some extreme stretching of that underneath the canopy, go ahead and react but until that point the leaf should stay. Otherwise all the photosynthesis the big leaves do will outweight any dogma about getting light to bud sites and such.

They look great and good job on the LST. My general rule is if the leaf is covering a branch I either try to tuck it under or it comes off. You want to keep as much surface area to grab all those photons and not let them hit dirt. So maybe you went a little heavy but I do not think it will affect the plant noticeably.

During the light phases I have 30 degrees with just over 50% humidity, sometimes even less. Is that OK? Should I try to lower the temperature at the expense of the humidity or should I let the temperature rise to get a higher humidity? Or should I leave it as it is?

You're fine, I wouldn't go to a lot of trouble trying to fight it. Greenhouse temps can hit closer to 50C in some areas in the summer and we still manage to grow. Fresh air circulation helps.

PlantBasedCookie They are slowly recovering from my excessive defoliation in week 3, I just had too much fun with it.
The amount of nutrients will be increased to 75% of the recommended amount per liter. The last watering was on day 22, just with water.
From now on, only light LST will follow.

PlantBasedCookie They are starting to stretch, and the first signs of flowers are visible. The plant in the front left is lagging a bit but should also start flowering in the next few days.
I will fertilize one more time only with BioBizz Grow and then add a low dose of Top Max and Bloom.

PlantBasedCookie The excitement is building, the first flowers are coming, and hopefully they'll be nice and big. I ended up removing the net and I'm fertilizing every second watering. The lamp is set to 150 watts, next week I'll probably go up to the full 200 watts. Until then, I'll just let them grow.

PlantBasedCookie The humidity is way too high, and unfortunately, I can't change that because it's constantly raining. A dehumidifier is too expensive for me, so I'm ensuring more air circulation and hoping that the plants can survive the last week as well. They really smell strong by now.
No more feeding, the plants should use the remaining nutrients from the soil and the leaves.

PlantBasedCookie On day 72, the plants were cut down and hung up completely in the tent. I'm letting the plants dry whole because the humidity is currently too low otherwise. On July 10, 2024, I will probably trim and weigh them. Since this was a shared project, the amount is also legal in Germany.

@Sejanus21, Hmm yeah, I'm also thinking about what to do with her... I topped her properly again yesterday and hopefully slowed down the growth a bit. The Quick Ones just need to live up to their name and then hopefully it will be fine.
