05/24/24. Going into week 4
It’s been a terrible week for little Euphi. Wasn’t sure the poor girl was gonna make it out alive. She’s had leaf issues which were progressing very quickly and were starting to affect ALL of her, which isn’t much to begin with. She’s fallen behind the other 2 substantially.
I’m still not quite sure what the problem was exactly, and I’m thinking maybe it was just a combination of things. I can’t say she’s out of the woods yet, but today she’s not droopy! She looks like hell from her past issues BUT her little leaves are reaching up now. So, that’s progress right? I’ll take it.
Over this past week I did not water her at all. I did make a very weak batch of nutrients that had even parts micro grow and bloom as well as cal mag. I took her out of the light and very lightly misted the underside of her little leaves. After that I kept her under a small grow bulb for most of the week. Today she’s going back to be with her friends. Hopefully she can get back to normal life now.
This morning I’ve finally watered her with a very low dose of the same nutrients I already mentioned and will obviously list up top.
Light for her will now be 70% dimmed at 27 inches up. Temperature is not great now too. 75-85f at times. Humidity between 55-62.
It really sucks that this happened. This is my first time having problems like this. Sucks because you never wanna see unhappy plants, but also because of course this would happen when it’s a sponsored contest. I’m sure this looks real good on me lol. Oh well, at least people can see this is real and that shit happens. Hopefully we can pull her out of this and get back to kicking some contests butt! Okay, okay we probably won’t kick any butt, but at least show we can make a beautiful plant even when there’s bad times. Mkay I’m shutting up now.
Thanks for lookin :)
You are wasting NO time 🤣 datz great..I have so many new seeds that I am excited to get started. But will have to wait now since I’m looking to move in the next month or so. Just received some of my old favorites Blue Dream and Sour Diesel, along with Jealousy, Pluto, Gator Breath, Khalifa Kush and Cereal Milk!! 😊
Bend her before the stalks harden. Keep bending her down over and over gently. Hang something on the top to keep her bent over (I use garden/soil stakes). A tiny pinch/fracture every node or so can help bend her, be firm but gentle. Then tie her down. I use wire (but my other gf prefers nylon cording)…. tie to garden stakes- so if u bump it the stake comes out and the branch doesn’t break.. then spread her wide open to expose the lower buds to direct light. Then just start tucking.
