A friend gave me this seed, so I'll have to give it a try. 😀
I tossed it into an espresso cup filled with water and put the saucer on top.
Around 30 hours later there is a little root. Then I put the seed into soil and topped it with cling film.
2 days later the cling film was removed because the seedling said hello :-)
The first days the plant stood on an inner window sill and bend a lot towards the window. I hold it in straight with this small piece of line. Now, since a day or two, the pot stands outdoor to gather more light.
Around two weeks ago I mixed some Florganics FLO with 66% LightMix, 33% CocoMix and some oats to get around 11 liters living soil. The concentration of FLO should be around 12%. With this substrate I only have to give plain water.
Today I transplanted the plant into an 15 liters fabric pot. The living soil makes the bottom part of the substrate and the top part gets covered by around 3,5 liters LightMix so the roots doesn't get burned immediately by the living soil.
I put the plant around 4 cm deeper into the substrate, surrounded by the LightMix.
The plant grew quite nice last week and doubled it's size. The weather changed sometimes so I didn't have to water yet. The Flora Sensor states a substrate humidity between 42 and 49%.
Last week was quite rainy in Germany so I didn't have to water. Nevertheless the little miss doubled in size. I am excited how this project will go on.
Last week we the weather was quite good so Törtchen was happy and shows it with some additional growth. I think today (Sunday) she shows the first white hairs.
Last week I defoliated Törtchen a little bit. She seems to be quite happy so far. Weather was mixed with sun/rain/wind. She smells a little bit if you are really near or rub on some leafs.
Weather is quite windy and rainy. After the rain Törtchen smells quite nice. First look at the trichomes was quite nice with a lot of milky ones. Also there are few golden and some clear trichomes. I'm quite happy how easy this was until now.
Today I looked at the trichomes and found a milky-amber ratio that could roughly be around 9:1. I trimmed of some larger leafs and hang it for drying. She smells very nice and intense, almost like a sweet berry thing.
Sadly I cannot weight it wet but after drying I'll update the grow diary.
Growing was quite easy although we had some tough weather situations wir heavy rain, strong winds and quite few nice sunny days. I would recommend growing with Florganics living soil because then you just have to water with clear water. All the time Törtchen seemed to be really happy about her nutrition situation.
Update: drying is now mostly over. The stem is almost snaps so I packed the buds into jars. I got around 51-52g. The final weight should be just under 50g when curing is finished.
