The Case of the Overdosing Indica: Act I - Week 1, Tight Quarters and Cold Shoulder
The dame's already hit a snag.
Seems I underestimated the, shall we say, enthusiasm of my current tenants. Ran out of pots for Auto Overdose, had to stick her in the smallest one I had. Managed a measly 5.5cm, not exactly setting any world records. But hey, gotta play the hand you're dealt, especially in this cramped joint.
The weather outside's gone sour too, colder than a snitch's handshake. Can't exactly risk putting her out on the street in this climate. Stuck her in the grow box with the other dames. Feels wrong, cramming her like that, like a dame in a cheap speakeasy. But there ain't exactly a lot of wiggle room in here.
Still, she's a tough broad. Pushing through despite the squeeze. Shows some promise, that much is clear. Here's hoping she keeps her green up. This week could make or break her, and this whole investigation with it. Stay tuned, folks, the plot's thickening faster than smoke in a backroom poker game.
Week 10: No flower (see pics).
Growth is great – shot up 20cm this week!
But still no sign of flowering. Starting to think this "auto" label is unreliable.
Can I do anything to force flower?
Limitation:
- outdoor grow
- weekend visits only
- no indoor irrigation
Hello SubliminalSociety,
Your plant is pre flowering already. She will start showing her white pistils and bud forming soon.
And no there is nothing you can do to trigger the flowering phase. The only thing you can do is making sure that the plant does get 12 hours darkness in a tent for example.
But I would say, let it go, let it grow, you are doing great so far!
Happy Growing! 💚
You can always force flowering by putting her in the dark for 12 hours a night for a couple of weeks to initiate flowering. That might be better than waiting, depending on your latitude, and how your investigation is going. Good luck.
@Northern_Ent, Interesting. I have nothing with complete darkness but could put her in the garage for two days while I'm there. Yeah, autumn tends to get very wet, so I was baking on my autos to deliver by mid-August. I'll give it a go. Thank you!!
Congrats on the successful germination 🌲 hope the rest of your grow is trouble free. I’m sure as soon as she is used to her new home she will explode into growth 💪
