The Case of the Overdosing Indica: Act II - Week 4, Eviction Notice Served (and a New Digs!)
Looks like our dame finally got an upgrade. No more cramped quarters for Auto Overdose. She's graduated to a pot with her name practically written on it - spacious, sturdy, built to accommodate a dame with ambitions.
What do you think of my artwork, folks? Classy or a little… flashy? Let me know in the comments.
That eight-legged squatter got the boot. One well-placed nudge from the watering can sent it scuttling back to whatever dark corner it crawled out of. Looks like this dame ain't afraid to stand her ground.
And standing she is. Tall. The straw and mulch seem to be working their magic. Overdose is stretching towards the sky, leaves perking up like a dame who just heard the gossip on the acquittal of a goodfella. Maybe a little sunshine and some elbow room are all she needed. This dame's got fight in her, that much is clear.
Stay tuned for week five, folks, things are about to get interesting.
Week 10: No flower (see pics).
Growth is great – shot up 20cm this week!
But still no sign of flowering. Starting to think this "auto" label is unreliable.
Can I do anything to force flower?
Limitation:
- outdoor grow
- weekend visits only
- no indoor irrigation
Hello SubliminalSociety,
Your plant is pre flowering already. She will start showing her white pistils and bud forming soon.
And no there is nothing you can do to trigger the flowering phase. The only thing you can do is making sure that the plant does get 12 hours darkness in a tent for example.
But I would say, let it go, let it grow, you are doing great so far!
Happy Growing! 💚
You can always force flowering by putting her in the dark for 12 hours a night for a couple of weeks to initiate flowering. That might be better than waiting, depending on your latitude, and how your investigation is going. Good luck.
@Northern_Ent, Interesting. I have nothing with complete darkness but could put her in the garage for two days while I'm there. Yeah, autumn tends to get very wet, so I was baking on my autos to deliver by mid-August. I'll give it a go. Thank you!!
Congrats on the successful germination 🌲 hope the rest of your grow is trouble free. I’m sure as soon as she is used to her new home she will explode into growth 💪
