The Case of the Overdosing Indica: Act II - Week 6, Stretching Like a Mob Snitch (and Building Muscle)
Brandenburg's sunshine's been a two-faced dame this week - scorcher by day, leaving Auto Overdose stretched like a mob snitch under a hot lamp.
She's hit a cool 60cm now, a far cry from the runt she was in that first pot. Took the whole training regimen in stride, this dame.
Looks like she's earned a break for good behaviour. Time to let her build some muscle, get those branches nice and strong. Gonna need all the support she can get for the upcoming flower show, those "colas" they call 'em. Heard they can get heavy as a bag of stolen loot.
Stay tuned, folks, the real fireworks are about to begin.
Week 10: No flower (see pics).
Growth is great – shot up 20cm this week!
But still no sign of flowering. Starting to think this "auto" label is unreliable.
Can I do anything to force flower?
Limitation:
- outdoor grow
- weekend visits only
- no indoor irrigation
Hello SubliminalSociety,
Your plant is pre flowering already. She will start showing her white pistils and bud forming soon.
And no there is nothing you can do to trigger the flowering phase. The only thing you can do is making sure that the plant does get 12 hours darkness in a tent for example.
But I would say, let it go, let it grow, you are doing great so far!
Happy Growing! 💚
You can always force flowering by putting her in the dark for 12 hours a night for a couple of weeks to initiate flowering. That might be better than waiting, depending on your latitude, and how your investigation is going. Good luck.
@Northern_Ent, Interesting. I have nothing with complete darkness but could put her in the garage for two days while I'm there. Yeah, autumn tends to get very wet, so I was baking on my autos to deliver by mid-August. I'll give it a go. Thank you!!
Congrats on the successful germination 🌲 hope the rest of your grow is trouble free. I’m sure as soon as she is used to her new home she will explode into growth 💪
