Week 6 - Day 34! I decided to top the plant before she hit her 6th node. I can tell it has shocked the plant a little. Growth seems a bit slow so I added some nutrients. This green crack plant seems very short and bushy in comparison to my other green crack I have going. I am wondering if I might have both phenos or if one is a male? Anyone have any imput on the same strains being vastly differnt in size and structure?
Update on equipment: I managed to get an airstone with a pump to make compost tea. I used some worm castings in some pantyhose, un-sulphered molasses, and fish fertilizer (5-1-1) and watered with my tea. After a bit more research I found out the pump that was given to me may not be strong enough to really get the water churning the way it needs to. Hopefully, my plant/s will not suffer for it.
I have also been doing some research on VPD since the last update. I knew relative humidity were important but I guess I didn't realize how much. From what I understand it can make a huge difference in quality. That being said I went and purchased a cool humidifier for the room because the RH was just too low according to the VPD chart.
Funny side note: What got me onto VPD was actually an Instagram comment from the notable cannabis advocate Todd McCormick. I asked him what his advice was for a noob grower? He said watch your VPD!
Until next time! Happy growing!
