Tequila Sunrise - Week 2: Señorita Goes on an Adventure!
¡Buenas noches, mis amigos! Week two with Tequila Sunrise has been a wild ride! This past week, she kept the party going strong under the grow lights with her summer sisters. You could practically hear the salsa music pumpin' as she soaked up those rays.
But all good things must come to an end, and by the end of week two, it was finally time for our little señorita to graduate to the great outdoors! The weather gods finally got the memo and switched things up to a balmy 20+ degrees Celsius - a perfect Brandenburg welcome for our sun-seeking party girl.
Before sending her off on her adventure, I made sure she was fueled up for success. A little Plagron in the grow box did the trick, and let me tell you, her rootball is lookin' like a tangle of happy, healthy highways ready to conquer the "badlands" of Brandenburg (don't worry, it's not that bad... mostly).
And because a true friend prepares for anything, I packed her a little somethin' somethin' extra: a cozy bed of straw leftover from my neighbor's harvest. This magic mulch serves a triple threat purpose: it'll attract those big-eatin' insects to keep the bad guys at bay, help retain moisture in the soil, and even act as a slow-release nutrient booster. Talk about a fiesta for the roots!
But wait, there's more! All good things come in threes, so I gave Tequila Sunrise the ultimate pampering - a sweet plastic dome to shield her from any harsh Brandenburg winds and keep that humidity nice and high. This girl's gonna be a thriving social butterfly in no time!
Stay tuned, amigos, because Tequila Sunrise is just getting started. Her outdoor adventure promises sunshine, good vibes, and hopefully, some future fire!
