Strong plants that were not too difficult to grow. Out of 10 seeds I noticed two pheno's, of which one was purple.
Did re-order seeds to try again soon
- Even after running for 18 hours it didn't get scary hot for a passively cooled light. 👍
- Post grow I was able to clean of dust and salt residue easily with a fiber cloth and some distilled water. 👍
Third day of week 9 I cut the ladies down, as I didn't want to risk more bud rot, and hang em to dry for 11 days at 16c / ~H60%.
After curing for two more weeks in a grovebag and hand trim, the end result (of what was left..) are a really nice frosty buds with a sour/fruity taste and mellow high.
My main takeaways to improve on for next grow are:
- Utilize lightning less passively for vigorous grow during veg
- Improve airflow with clipfan(s) or such
- Control H% during flower (especially at night) with a dehumidifier
- Start (really) hot during flower around 30c and end colder
Nice effort . Just flipped mine to Fat Kids to flower . Hope the buds come up looking great like yours . Will try to get the humidity down to 30-40 for the last weeks
@groen, Ah cheers mate , appreciate that . I only left them another week because they started off slow . I’ve not got a de humid yet , been looking the last week at a few . Got it a 52/54 atm which isn’t too bad . I’ll let you know what I get to help
@HoddleKing, Thank you :) Your ladies are looking strong in their first week of flower. Wish I could have taken them one more week in hindsight. Think you will be on the safe side with 30-40% , which dehum do you use?
For your next grow: ensure that theres not more than 53% humidity in your grow room, as well as good airflow. Therefore you wont get no budrot anymore.
