Day 2: Quite a bit of root growth occurred today, the seedling is doing really well. Day 3: So far so good. I had a bunch of seeds bomb out before this and I'm glad that things are starting to look up again. 😄 Day 4: I've planted two more seeds into the same pot for the purposes of germination and made a new pot with two other seeds in that one. Starting to try the sea of green.👍

Seeing some great growth and colour in the plant, overall I'm really happy with the results. I've ordered myself some growth lights from GearBest to help the seedlings get on their feet. Anybody ever used their lights and do they work? (LEDs)😊

So I was just having a good look at my plants today, when I noticed that one of the girls looked different! She has three leaves instead of the usual two appearing! I realized it was odd when I saw that she also had three cotyledons instead of the normal and natural two! So I did my research and it's called either whorled phylotaxy or a polyploid (which I figured from the start).😄 So obviously, I'm a first time grower and a newbie to it all, and I'm not sure if these girls are ready to be moved outside yet, or are they still a bit too small? Should I wait for a second pair of true leaves?✊

The girls have stopped growing in the box and I assume it's due to them not having all of the proper and correct light conditions. So, I will be moving them outside in the next couple of days, as soon as I have built them a greenhouse. 👍

Good luck 🍀 with your grow. I see you are trying to do a SoG. What type of space do you have to flower them in?

@Speed_Weed,whatever you can make light proof and gives you the most room for the flowering plants to expand

Thank you! I have access to both a vegetable garden (the veggies grow really well here) at my own home and then I'm also looking into cloning and planting my polyploid plant on a 1 hectare farming plot that I have available! What would you suggest? @MagicMikesMeds,

If this is the real swazi gold your in for a treat man that plants gonna get huge !!! and what homegrown has given you is the ideal ph ranges for soiless you want to be in the 6.5-6.8 range for soil , if its a soiless mix then your fine . Sending your ladies lots of positive vibes ! -Happy Growing!

Thanks man, I'm really looking forward to watching these ladies grow, and I have adapted my soil pH to suit them! =) @The_Projexx,

Your PH might be a little high mate. The ideal PH is about 5.5 to 6.5 any higher and the plants can find it difficult to take in the nutrients.Try to leave nutrients until about 2 or 3 weeks into a grow.I have a mixed lighting system. I have an LED and 600w MH grow light.I have it mixed to give the best conditions and warmth.Humidity is also a big factor in growth. All in all, good luck with the grow mate.I'll be following along.

Thanks @Homegrown79! I'll test the soil again and focus more in keeping it in the ideal range!
