Forbidden Fruits

This past week marks the second-to-last interval before we begin to flush... at least that's the plan right now. Thus, change continues to be in the air. The plants' grow environment has changed to facilitate ripening of the ladies' flowers and maturation of their trichomes. First, the plants' exposure to UV-A/B has been increased by 30 minutes per day. In addition, the humidity controls have been purposely set not to exceed 50% rH. Further, their nighttime temperature has been reduced to 68F - this alteration is intended to avail the result of shocking the plants a bit AND facilitating the transformation of their coloration and appearance. These changes should, hopefully, push the plants into maturation a little sooner. Nothing has changed in terms of their feeding regimen. The plants' development is off-the-charts. The ladies' buds are fattening up like it's no one's business. Grape Gasoline reeks of jet fuel and her buds are nothing short of massive! Applez & Bananaz continues to fatten up - though not to the extent of her roommate - but exudes the sweetest smell of ripe fruit with a touch of funk. Both are getting a bit purple due to their small doses of Purpinator, and both plants are nothing less than overswelled with resin and trichomes... thanks, no doubt, to Copycat Genetics' superior workmanship!
