Hello guys,
I currently got two projects running in the same tent. The first one is my first ever grow (currently in week 4) that had a lot of problems. So I decided to apply what I learned in this second project, that will also be my first diary on this platform.
Strain: Hulkberry Automatik by Royal Queen Seeds with the following specs (copied from the breeders official website):
Type: Autoflowering
THC: 21%
CBD: Low
Yield Indoor : 16 to 19 oz/m²
Yield Outdoor: 3 to 5 oz/plant
Height Indoor: 3 to 4 feet
Height Outdoor: 3 to 4 feet
Flowering time: 6 - 7 weeks
Harvest Month: 8 - 9 weeks after sprouting
Genetic Background: Hulkberry x Diesel Auto
Type: Sativa 65% Indica 30% Ruderalis 5%
Effect: Clear, Uplifting
Climate: Long Summers
Flavor: Citrus, Diesel, Fruity
Germination:
I put the seed into a glass of tap water with a pH of 6.5. Within 18 hours it sunk to the ground, so I put it into a small box with damped paper towels. After another 24 hours the seed had grown a tap root that was approximately 2cm long. So I put the seed into its forever home of a 9l plastic pot with clay balls at the bottom to increase drainage and filled with Atami Janeco Lightmix. After the transplantation I gave it 200ml of extra water and a microdose of BioBizz Root Juice. I covered the place of the seed with a humidity bowl that I created out of the top of an empty plastic bottle. 36 hours later the plant broke the surface 😍. I call this (01.05.2024) day 1.
Light:
I use a Spider Farmer SE3000 at a height of approximately 50cm and at 55% power. Hopefully this is not too much. Since the new plant has to share its home with the plants of my first grow, I don't want to give the older plants too little light. New Hulkberry got a corner where PPFD levels are lower.
I will add a few more photos once the plant grew its first true leaves.
Thanks for reading and happy growing! 👍
