Heading in today to grab a few more 1 gallon fabric pots and some more soil/perlite. I have only ever grown one auto before this and was pleasantly surprised, so I decided to go with a mini 2x2 SOG approach.

I picked up the 1 gallon fabric pots, and while I was at the grow store I stumbled across some self wicking water bases by AC Infinity. While I must say it seems like a sin to not be watering my babies, I haven’t top watered since 5 days from sprout and it seems the girls are loving it. Since I have a smaller tent I was only able to use two of the 4 bases, however the way it works it’ll work just fine having two plants on each base being as I opted for the 1 gallons for this run. Though I do have a larger tent, I love to experiment and see what I can do and I’m having tons of fun with it! Going forward I will be referring to “(Sour stomper x fantasmo express) X Ripley’s O.G.” as TPoT O.G. Just know that it is not my strain I just can’t be bothered typing all that out. If you’ve made it this far, cheers, good luck on your grows/research, and thanks for checking out my growdiary!

Start of week 3 today. No need for nutes yet, just chugging right along. Loving how healthy and lovely these girls are looking! The runt of the batch has a skinnier base of the stalk and was starting to lean a bit today made me think perhaps it needed a bit more top watering.. not really sure though. It rained pretty hard last night and i collected some rainwater and the girls seemed to be loving it. Quite a bit of growth in the last week or so, otherwise nothing really to note here. Been busy harvesting my L.A. Confidential!

I’m a day early, but that’s okay. The girls have really taken off this week! It’s been raining pretty hard here so I decided to collect some rainwater and fill the auto watering bases! They seem to be loving it as I just filled each with another gallon and they have taken off tremendously between that and the pre flower stretch. I started to pull the plants sideways to help fill the area in the tent and to keep an even canopy. Excited to see how this goes as this is my first full grow in the small tent! (Because why not!) I’ve got a run going in a 4x2 otherwise typically I’ve started them in this smaller tent and move them over to the 4x2 for flower! As far as the plants go, the retro wedding is still leading the pack with our #2 runt holding down the caboose! Happy growing to all! If you’re still here thanks for reading this far!

The girls are getting real stinky this week! I left a crack in the vent (accidentally) and the entire place smells so good! Or disgusting if you ask my lady ;) it is getting extremely crowded in there and I’m thinking I’ll have to do some defoliation, though I’ve always been uneasy about that part… The two “tpot og” are very different from one another and I believe I stunted #1 as I noticed some damage to the stalk though it seems to have re rooted itself. I don’t have high hopes for this one and the times ticking on these autos the second they pop, but I’ll still nourish her and let her do her thing! #2 has leaves as big as my hands, and it’s starting to tower over the rest!! Crazy to think she’s always been the runt of the pack! The other two strains are plugging right along, stacking very nicely and showing strong pistils! Happy growing all! I’m out for now!

Hello I’m Lacory, I was curious about the way you germinated your seeds?

@baggindbilbo, hello! I used rapid rooter cubes, however didn’t see the option for that under the method. I’ve found for me I have the best successes with germination by putting the seed directly into whatever you’re starting with! If you look at the seed closely you’ll see one end is more round whereas the other is more pointed! I drop the pointy end into the rapid rooter cube with a depth of about twice the length of the seed! (I found the opening they give you on those cubes is pretty tight so I typically open it up with a little seed vial that I got from Mephisto, but make sure not to go to deep!) Hope you find this helpful!
