Day 51.
I'm surprised how big the plants eventually got even though the start was pretty slow and rough. Not sure whether its the genetics or the hydroponic system or both of them combined. Anyways, I'm happy after all. :) The stretch phase is almost complete by now and even the smallest main stems are at least as big as I would normally get in soil with 1-1,5 month veg. I'm impressed. The flower production started really slowly compered to other diaries here, but I think it's because of the setbacks at the beginning.
Day 55.
29.04., when bud production really started, the biggest plant GSC #1 (and maybe a week later also the second biggest plant, the GSC #4) started showing symptoms of calcium and magnesium deficiencies. I wasn't able to get the stuff immediately and the middle part of the plants started quickly showing quite bad symptoms of deficiencies and I think the buds were also growing really slowly, but after I got the Cal-Mag supplement the problem was fixed and the growth was back to normal in a week.
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, Yeah, I'm really amazed by the speed in growth and how big they got after all. You can actually see from the picture of "the fallen" GSC #2 how small they all were after three weeks of veg when I finally got them in the NFT system. They were actually even a bit smaller than the dried up fallen GSC #2 in the picture, because despite of the stem rot the GSC#2 and the Six Shooter grew just a little before dying.
Crazy.. Never have had such thick main stems (like the GSC #1) when growing in soil and usually I veg my soil plants for like 1 - 1,5 month. And these girls basically went almost straight to flower.
Amazing job with the genetics. 8) @FAST_BUDS
@Skunkstar, Thank you! Much appreciated. :) Shouldn't be too long to see the finished product, the hairs have already started turning brown within a week.
