BOTAN1ST Pictures after 1st week of vegetation.
The deformed Sugar Bomb Punch seedlings recovered and are grownling strong.
Repotted into Compo Sana Qualitätsblumenerde.
Many people noticed slow growth of the plants in NeudoHum Aussaat- & KräuterErde. It's probably due to a lack of nitrogen in the soil.
Last Watering after repotting the seedlings into new containers - 17.05.2024
BOTAN1ST 19.05.2024 - Light increased to 30% - 60W - 300PPFD - ~18DLI
20.05.2024 - Light increased to 35% - 70W - 350PPFD - ~20DLI
23.05.2024 - Light increased to 40% - 80W - 400PPFD - ~22DLI
23.05.2024: One of the Strawberry Cookie plants are bright green/light yellow and struggles to grow. Checked the soil and the roots and repotted the plant into new soil mix. The plant didn't develop any new roots since the last repotting. Weird.

BOTAN1ST Vegetation week 3
Let them grow. Nothing changed.
The struggling Strawberry Cookie recovers and the leafes becoming greener.
28.05.2024 - Light increased to 42% - around 82W ~ 425PPFD ~23DLI
BOTAN1ST First two days are still in veg phase.
01.06.2024 - Decided to start flowering phase 1 day after repotting, to see how the plants will behave.
Starting flowering after 3 weeks due to the short height of the grow box. The height of the box is about 1,6m. Mind the stretch. We could probably go for a 4th week of vegetation, but better be safe than sorry 👍
02.06.2024 - Repotted all plants into 5,7L container - they look a little bit unhappy - No fertilizer used yet. Just fresh soil 😇
02.06.2024 - Light increased to 50% - around 100W ~29DLI
03.06.2024 - Plants recovered pretty well and are now praying back again
03.06.2024 - Light increased to 65% - around 130W ~600-650 PPFD ~31DLI
04.06.2024 - Light increased to 70% - around 140W ~650-700 PPFD ~33DLI
05.06.2024 - Light increased to 80% - around 160W ~800 PPFD ~35-36DLI
BOTAN1ST 2nd week of flowering started.
First female calyx sprouted. They're growing fast n str0ng
09.06.2024 - Light increased to 85% - around 170W ~850 PPFD ~36-38 DLI
10.06.2024 - Plants are stretching noticeably
14.06.2024 - Today we watered the plants. Every plant has got around 2L of water with pH 7,2, ec 440 µS/cm and 0,5ml/L epsomite.
No fertilizing, since there are signs of too much fertilizer in the soil already. Just added a little bit of extra magnesium through epsomite.
pH was adjusted with vinegar from around 8 to 7,2. Soil will buffer the pH anyway 👍
BOTAN1ST Week 3 of flowing has started. The plants are still stretching a lot. The last two days they jumped 4-5cm per day.
We removed a few lower leaves, but we're still thinking about lolli popping in a week. We'll see...
We also found a few male flowers on both of the Strawberry Cookies; removed them. Just 2 on every plant.
17.06.2024 - Found 2 new male flowers on one of the Strawberry Cookies 😕
20.06.2024 - Due to the hight of the plants they'll soon reach the LED. We reduced the light intensity to 70%, to prevent lightburn.
Defolitated the plants. Removed most of the lower leaves and all small side branches.
BOTAN1ST Week 4 of flowering started. Plants are coming to the end of their stretch. They trippled in height. The biggest daily change was around 9-10cm - over night.
23.06.2024 - Today we watered the plants. The pot dry weight was around 2,7kg. After watering the pot weighted around 5kg. We also did a mild feeding of ~780µS/cm.
Fertilizer was mixed for 10L of nutrient solution:
1g Hakaphos Red 8+12+24(+4)
1,5g Hakaphos Soft Spezial 16+8+22(+3)
1g YaraTera Calcinit
The tallest plant was pretty close to the LEDs, so we bend her a bit.
25.06.2024 - Moved the carbon filter and the fan on top of the grow tent, so we could position the lamp higher.
Light increased back to 80%
28.06.2024 - Found a few more male flowers and removed them 😤
BOTAN1ST Flowering week 6. Buds starting to get a little bit bigger and resin production started :)
08.07.2024 - watering and mild feeding. 0,8 mS/cm. Also added a few chicken manure pellets, around 5g per pot.
Looks like the stretch has finally came to an end.
BOTAN1ST Week 7 of flowering
13.07.2024 - Removed a few leaves, that were laying on top of each other - to reduce potential wet spots
16.07.2024 - Watered the plant with a mild feeding of EC 0,8 mS/cm - afterwards im thinking that this might not have been needed, we'll see how the plants react.
We lowered the light intensity to 60%, because of the height of the plant. The distance between plants and light source is too close for higher Watts. The PPFD at the center of the tent is around 750-800, which is pretty good. The highest plants have a PPFD way above 1000 . A few leaves started to curl, because of that intense light.
18.07.2024 - We found 2 male flowers on one of the Sugar Bomb Punch 😑
BOTAN1ST Flowering week 8:
20.07.2024 Repositioned a few of the fans,
23.07.2024 Watered the plants with around 500ml per plant. No fertilizer or CalMag.
23.07.2024 Bad news: one of the Strawberry Cookies has bud rot. The weather the last weeks was really bad and we had a high humidty temporarily. Unlucky... 😕
24.07.2024 Another main cola has bud rod and was removed. Checked all the other plants, they looked good so far 😐
26.07.2024 Watered the plants with around 500ml per plant. No fertilizer or CalMag.
Thanks for the info.Looking at the site again and they have a side by side picture of the 2 phenos and they're the spitting image.Looking for somethingand this looks and sounds top draww.
Looking goodJust looking at the Sugar bomb,I guess they're the shorter ones?SOG so I guess you've got 4?They're very uniformed if so.I'd of questioned the 6wk stretch as Iv just read their claim of minimal stretch but you've got that well documented.Very informative.
@oldskoolkool, Thanks!
Regarding the 4 Sugar Bombs: It seems like i've got two phenotypes. Two on the left (short) and the two on the right (higher). The flowers look different, too. The shorter ones are more compact, while the higher Sugar Bombs are more "fluffy".
The middle ones are the Strawberry Cookies 👍
Regarding the stretch: We've started the flowering cycle at day 24. The following week the plants kept growing linear, until they started to shoot at/after day 34. Stretch slowed down a bit after ~10-12 days. Plateauing at day 53. To sum up, i can say the stretch of the higher sugar bombs is 20days +/-. The smaller ones had the same stretch duration, but didn't grow as tall.
