Blueberry Cupcake [Humboldt Seed Company] // first grow
I germinated the Seed using the glass of Water technique to soak it for a day and then planted it directly into BioBizz Lightmix Soil.
I fertilized the outer part of my Pots already with some Monster Bud Mix from Zamnesia and left a small cup sized hole in the middle which i filled in with the Lightmix.
Because I used this organic amendement which contains Mycorhizza the earth showed some fuzzy mycelium in the days after.
Out of the three seeds i popped the soil of the Blueberry Cupcake showed the most visible mycelium.
Since i am a first time grower i was not sure if it was mold, but i got no problems in the weeks after so i guess it wasn´t.
The visible mycelium is vanishing as the first week of the seedling stage goes on.
I just keep the humidity high using the domes and water using a spray bottle with PHed water at PH 6.5.
For fertilizing i am using the Monter Bud Mix from Zamnesia. Since i am planning to plant the plant in an 11L fabric pot i mix about 100g in 11L of soil.
In the second week the plant looked really healthy. The other plants i grew showed some nutrient burn, but the Blueberry Cupcake managed it quite well.
This week the pots started to become a bit small.
I guess you could have let them sit in the small pot for another week or so but had taken a quick look at the roots because of the whole leaf situation and noticed that the roots were already starting to grow along the walls of my pot.
So....
I decided to transplant them in their final 11L fabric pots at day 18.
I began with the LST at day 19.
The LST was visibly paying off now. I tried to keep on top of it and started adjusting the clips and wires nearly every day at least a little bit to make sure the plant is not pulling the wires out.
I fed the plant about one Tbsp of molasses with 1L of water at day 26 and also watered in aome SF nematodes because i noticed some mourning gnats on the traps i placed around my tent.
I PHed the water to 6.5 this week just using the molasses, which was probably a bit too much so I stopped at Day 36.
I only watered abaut 1.3 to 1.5 litres of water when the pots felt light.
Because I saw some issues which I suspected beeing PH related I also swicht my Ph of the water to 6.0.
The Blueberry cupcake grew a lot this week.
The side branching became stronger and was rapidly getting longer.
It also started to develop purple stems whish I suspect being the Blueberry genetics because none of the other plants are showing this symptoms.
I switched the lighting to 12/12 at day 38.
For scrogging i keep training the plant doing the stretch as much as i can to keep my canopy low.
The Blueberry is growing a bit mor slender tzhan the other strains but it looks really nice and will fill up the screen easyly. I hope i have enough scpace in my tent for all 3 plants.
I also gave less molasses than last week to not overdo it.
At day 38 the plant got a bit of a defoiliation to improve airflow.
I was a bit hot this week and i have no possibility to cool my tent so temperature was a bit higher.
But this didn´t seem to bother the Blueberry Cupcake at all she grew like crazy. She is also getting some mutated leafes as you can see in the pictures.
I kept up with defoiliating to prevent moisture issues.
The relative humidity was 70% this week but just for short times usually it´s about 60%.
I just fertilize once a week when watering, the rest of the week i water plane tapwater which has been sitting for about 24 hours.
At the end of this week i could see the buds starting to show.
I noticed lefcurling on another plantin the tent but not on the Blueberry Cupcake.
She was doing well but i took the hint and stopped adding X-Cel and molasses,
because its always easy to add something but too much is more complicated.
So i was playing it safe since i am not that experienced yet.
I was also adding SF-nematodes to prevent that annoying flies.
Since the leafes below the net stopped air from flowing i started this week with a nice defoiliation.
There was also no more reason for no fertilizer this week so I fed them a bit.
I still left a lot to enshure good photosynthesis.
The Blueberry was just going crazy and started to get frosty as f*** this week.
And since my microscope just arrived i got some first tricome-shots for you too.
