Hi everybody!
I was wondering if anybody has some experience with a light on/light off schedule? 2h light, half hour dark.
For a lightcycle of 12h total.
My lamps tend to get pretty hot, seeing how they are built in a closet I don't want them to get too hot.. Advice wanted! :D
Even if that might work in veg, although fooling around with the light schedule like that has a high chance of making plants go hermy, I don't think it will work in flowering, since you need at least 12 hours of continued darkness for the plants to flower. You need to vent the hot air out of that closet, not only for your plants health, but to avoid a fire hazard.
I was under the impression that while germinating, light can damage the seed. I believe, and i could very well be wrong, that while germinating all you need is heat and moisture.
humm... never heard something like that...iwould either recommend you cfl bulbs and letting them on for 18 hours. in my imagination i finish the setup and then i start the Grow.there is alwy
