Grow Barneys, Season 1
#Runtz and #WeddingCake seedlings are really doing well and showing impressive progress. Just look at the size of their first leaves! The #Plagron soil is doing wonders for them. These little powerhouses are simply fantastic!
In a few days, they will be transplanted into 3.5-liter pots and then into the final pots. I'm a huge fan of Wedding Cake - its terpene profile is fantastic and its effect spectrum will blow away many newcomers.
I told you, we don’t want any weaklings, we want cannabis on steroids! Not a piece, but the whole damn cake!

Season 1 #Runtz, #WeddingCake Seedling Day 10 / Vegetative Phase Day 1
Not much has changed, aside from their impressive growth. Our plants are now transitioning into the growth phase, and as everyone knows, things will start to move pretty quickly from here. Soon we will be able to share interesting pictures daily.
Right now, there isn’t much to see with the seedlings, but they are well-built and already have large first leaves. This morning, the first roots were also visible at the bottom of the pots. In about a week, they will be transplanted so they can continue to unfold.
There will be an update on the #Biscotti tomorrow (yes, something is already living there ^^), but more on that tomorrow.

Season 1 Day 13 - Veg Day 2 #Runtz, #WeddingCake, #Biscotti
Day 13 After Germination - Quick Update:
After 11 days, our plants have completed their seedling phase and are now on Day 2 of their growth phase. They have received new shoes, meaning 3.5-liter pots. In one picture, you can see the roots after 12 days in the same container – it’s not fully rooted yet, but it’s enough to start unfolding. Of course, we could leave them longer, but that’s not what we want here.
After transplanting, we don’t use the standard 10% of the pot, but only 5% and only start with the usual 10% after 3 days. #Plagron Allmix was used as soil, so our little ladies are well taken care of for the time being. The temperature remains steady at 26 degrees Celsius and the pH level of the watering was 6.3. Now we wait a few days.

Season 1 #Runtz, #WeddingCake, #Biscotti
Day 15 - Vegetative Day 4
Day 15 since germination, 4 days of growth: Our plants are thriving! They have developed well and are now forming more and more side shoots. It’s clear that they are starting their growth phase with full force. The stems are getting thicker and fleshier, a sign that they are ready to make significant gains in the coming days and form a lot of new roots.
The development is fascinating and shows how much potential these little plants have. Tomorrow it’s time to water again, and we will use the standard 10% of the pot volume to ensure they are optimally supplied.
Stay tuned to witness their impressive transformation! These plants are going to kick it into high gear in the next few days, and I’m excited to continue taking you along on this journey.

Success with the Blackseries 600: Brutal growth and perfect lighting
The Blackseries 600 is truly a game changer! Despite transplanting and tearing the root balls, my plants continue to grow vigorously and healthily. One plant showed a slight deficiency in calcium and magnesium. Thanks to CalMag and spraying the leaves, this issue was quickly resolved.
Did you know that cannabis can also absorb nutrients through its leaves? By spraying, growth was normalized again and the plant is thriving beautifully. Additionally, I adjusted the pH to prevent nutrient lockout.
The Blackseries 600 provides optimal growth and excellent lighting. Absolutely recommendable!

Hello dear grow community,
Today I want to give you a little update on my current grow. We have now reached day 18 of the flowering phase, and I have decided to defoliate my cannabis plants. In this post, I will explain why I took this step and what benefits it brings.
What is defoliation?
Defoliation is the targeted removal of leaves from the plant. Typically, large fan leaves are removed that block light and restrict air circulation.
Why did I defoliate?
Improved Light Penetration:
By removing the large fan leaves, the lower buds can receive more light. This leads to a more even and better development of the buds, ultimately increasing the yield.
Better Air Circulation:
Fewer leaves mean better air circulation between the plants. This helps prevent mold and other fungal diseases that can easily spread in a too-humid environment.
Targeted Energy Distribution:
By removing the leaves, the plant can use its energy more efficiently. Instead of supplying large leaves, the plant can focus more energy on developing the buds.
Why did I choose this timing?
Day 18 of the flowering phase is a good time because the plant still has enough time to recover from the stress of defoliation before entering the crucial phase of bud development. At this point, the plants are strong enough to handle the loss of leaves, and they have not yet reached their full bud density, making defoliation easier.
Why is this important?
While defoliation can be stressful for the plant, it brings many benefits that justify the stress. It is a technique used by many experienced growers to maximize yield and quality of their harvest. The key is not to overdo it and to give the plant enough time to recover.
Have you had experiences with defoliation? How do you handle it in your grows? I look forward to your comments and tips!

It's going into the flowering phase! The plant has been defoliated as shown in the pictures. I just had to post this since it’s getting overshadowed in the corner. With its massive size and explosive growth, it leaves the others far behind. It can't be pushed anymore; it's already growing through the net!
I've been using #Plagron Hydro A and B as well as Hydro Root since the beginning and I'm more than satisfied with the results.
Why Plagron Hydro A and B?
Plagron Hydro A and B are highly concentrated mineral fertilizers specifically developed for hydroponics. They contain all the essential nutrients that plants need for optimal growth and abundant flowering. By combining Hydro A and B, the plants receive a balanced nutrient supply that promotes growth and flowering.
What is Plagron Hydro Root?
Hydro Root is a root stimulator that supports and enhances root growth. A healthy and well-developed root structure is crucial for nutrient and water uptake. Hydro Root ensures that the plants develop strong and branched roots, leading to healthier and faster plant growth.
Since I started using these products, the results have been impressive!

The plants are developing beautifully, and it's exciting to observe the changes daily. Today, we fertilized for the second time with 45ml Canna PK 13/14. The nutrients seem to be doing their job excellently, as you can clearly see the buds getting thicker and denser.
The flowers are now nice and compact and are starting to be covered with a dense layer of trichomes. These resin crystals give the buds an almost sparkling appearance and bring about that familiar "sticky icky" feeling. Every contact with the flowers leaves a sticky sensation on the fingers and the unmistakable, intense smell of fresh cannabis.
The scent has noticeably intensified in the last few days. The combination of sweet, spicy, and earthy aromas now fills the entire room and is a sure sign that the plants are on the right track.
We have increased the EC value to 2.1, as the plants' nutrient consumption has risen. To keep up with the power of the lamp, we are now adding 150 ml of Terra Bloom every 3 days. These adjustments help the plants make the most of the lighting. The plants are handling the lighting so well that we can bring the lamps down to 20 cm from the plants without any signs of stress or burns.
The plants look healthy and vibrant, the leaves are green, and the stems are strong. Everything indicates that the harvest will be very successful in a few weeks. We will continue to pay close attention to the needs of the plants and ensure they have optimal conditions to reach their full potential.
It will be exciting to see how the buds develop in the coming days and weeks. The anticipation for the harvest is rising!

Hello dear grow community,
I wanted to share some important information today about why I'm raising the EC value to 2.1 and how this relates to my Future of Grow (F.O.G) Blackseries 600 LED grow light.
As some of you know, I'm using the F.O.G Blackseries 600, which really provides fantastic lighting. One of the features of this light is its ability to be placed very close to the plants – as close as 15-20 cm. This proximity ensures more intense lighting and better penetration of the lower plant areas, ultimately leading to stronger growth and higher yields.
But there's an important point to consider: When the light is that close to the plants, the plants' metabolism increases significantly. The light is more intense, and photosynthesis is in full swing. As a result, the plants require more nutrients to keep up with the increased growth.
That's why I've raised the EC value (electrical conductivity) of my nutrient solution to 2.1. A higher EC value means that more dissolved salts are present in the solution, providing the plants with more available nutrients. This is necessary to meet the increased demand for macro and micronutrients caused by the intense lighting.
The increased nutrient uptake is also reflected in a rise in microsiemens (µS/cm) in the solution, as this indicates the amount of dissolved substances in the solution. A higher value means that the plants are optimally supplied with everything they need for healthy and vigorous growth.
In summary:
The F.O.G Blackseries 600 can be placed very close to the plants (15-20 cm distance).
Due to the intense lighting, the plants' metabolism increases, and they require more nutrients.
An EC value of 2.1 ensures that enough nutrients are available.
The rise in microsiemens indicates that the solution is optimally enriched with nutrients.
I hope this information helps you out and takes your grows to the next level!
Peace

Powered by F.O.G 🌱 Blackseries 600 🦇
Today we’re back with an exciting update from our Barney's Farm Season 1! For the fourth time, we’ve used PK 13/14, and we can definitely feel the difference. Some plants are about two weeks behind, probably due to the radical pruning.
Even though we’re technically in week 6 of flowering, several plants just stopped forming their last fan leaves this week and are out of the stretching mode. The mini-buds are just starting to grow properly in week 6, which usually happens in week 3.
Here are a few tips for the grow community:
Be patient: Cannabis is a plant that doesn’t stick to a fixed schedule. Observe the plants and adjust your expectations.
Prune wisely: Radical pruning can delay growth. A targeted and gentler pruning could help keep the plants on schedule.
Regular nutrient feedings: PK 13/14 supports flower development, but timing is crucial here as well.
Aroma control: The fruity scent is a good sign of healthy plants. Make sure the air circulation is right to avoid mold and pests.
Anyway, you can never really say when cannabis is done. I would definitely give them another good 4 weeks, but we’ll see in the end.
Everything smells like a fruity cocktail – simply heavenly!
Stay tuned for more updates and Happy Growing!

Powered by F.O.G 🌱 Blackseries 600🔋
Today I want to share with you my grow project, which is in an exciting phase. We're on flowering day 46, and the anticipation is rising!
Strains in the grow tent:
Runtz: The buds are now fully developed and sparkling with trichomes. The resin production is at an all-time high, and the sweet, fruity scent fills the room. I can't wait for these beauties to reach their full ripeness.
Wedding Cake: This strain shows impressive resin density, laying a frost-like layer over the buds. The complex aroma reminiscent of vanilla and spices intensifies with each passing day. The sight is simply breathtaking!
Biscotti: The Biscotti plants are a true work of art. Their resinous buds and the distinctive aroma reminiscent of fresh pastries are a delight for the senses. The ripeness of this strain promises an unparalleled taste experience.
The plants are now in the critical phase of resin ripening, where the trichomes reach their maximum potency. I observe them daily to not miss the perfect harvest time. The combination of aroma, resin production, and bud development is simply fascinating.
Warning: Mold risk in the late flowering phase ⚠️
In the late flowering phase, the risk of mold formation is particularly high. The dense and resinous buds provide optimal conditions for mold, especially when humidity in the grow tent is too high.
Tips to avoid mold:
Improve air circulation: Ensure good ventilation in the grow tent. Fans help keep the air moving and reduce the risk of moisture buildup.
Monitor humidity: Keep humidity in an optimal range of 40-50% during the late flowering phase. A hygrometer can help you monitor the conditions.
Inspect buds regularly: Check your plants regularly for signs of mold, especially in the dense areas of the buds. The sooner you notice problems, the better you can respond.
Defoliation: Remove excess leaves to improve air circulation around the buds. This can also reduce the risk of mold formation.
How's it going in your grow tent? Feel free to share your experiences and observations in the comments!

DabbingYak Dabbing Yak & Friends Grow Barney's Farm Season1 - Day 95 - Flowering Day 51, #Runtz - #WeddingCake #Biscotti - Powered by F.O.G 🌱 Blackseries 600 🦇
On the 95th day of the entire growth cycle, which is the 51st day of the flowering phase, cannabis plants are at a critical stage of their development. At this point, the plants focus on producing flowers, and their care requires special attention to ensure a high-quality harvest.
Physical Appearance
Flower Development: The flowers (also known as "Buds") are now well-defined and should reach their maximum density. The trichomes, the small resinous glands that produce cannabinoids like THC and CBD, are now clearly visible. These trichomes can be observed closely with a magnifying glass or microscope and appear milky-white to amber, depending on their maturity.
Leaf Changes: Many of the larger fan leaves may start to turn yellow and die off. This is a normal part of the plant's aging process as it concentrates its energy on flower production.
Environmental Conditions
Light: During the flowering phase, a 12/12 light cycle (12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness) is crucial. This helps the plant stay in bloom and maximizes flower development.
Temperature and Humidity: Ideally, daytime temperatures should be between 20-26°C and nighttime temperatures between 18-22°C. Humidity should be kept between 40-50% to prevent mold as the buds become denser.
Nutrients and Watering
Nutrients: At this stage, the plants require a higher proportion of phosphorus and potassium to support flower formation. An excess of nitrogen, on the other hand, can promote leaf growth, which is undesirable during the flowering phase.
Watering: The plants should be watered regularly but not excessively. The soil should dry out slightly between waterings to avoid root rot. Water quality should be monitored; pH levels of 6.0 to 6.8 are optimal.
Observations and Adjustments
Trichome Monitoring: Monitoring trichome development is crucial for determining harvest time. When most trichomes are milky and some are amber, the plant is ready for harvest. This is the point where the cannabinoid profile is most balanced.
Smell and Mold Prevention: The smell of the plant becomes more intense at this stage. Good ventilation is important to prevent mold while controlling odor levels.
Conclusion
Day 95, or the 51st flowering day, is an exciting time in the growth cycle of a cannabis plant. With the right care and monitoring, growers can ensure that their plants have the best chance of producing a high-quality and potent harvest. It's important to address the specific needs of the plant during this phase and make adjustments as needed.

Flowering Week 9
Powered by F.O.G 🌱 Blackseries 600 🦇
In week 9 of cannabis flowering, we're entering the final phase! The plants have now completed most of their growth and are focusing their energy on producing trichomes and maturing the buds. You'll notice that the buds are becoming particularly dense and resinous now – a clear sign that harvest time is approaching.
Here are a few things to keep an eye on:
Trichome maturity: A close look at the trichomes with a microscope or magnifying glass is crucial. They should now be milky white, with some already turning amber. This is the best time to maximize THC content.
Watch the leaves: The large fan leaves often start to yellow and die off. This is normal and indicates that the plant is putting its last energy into the buds.
Flushing: If you haven't done so already, now is the right time to flush the plant. This means watering it only with clear water to remove any remaining nutrients from the soil and the plants. This will enhance the flavor of the buds.
Smell: The smell of the plants is particularly intense now. Make sure your ventilation system is working well to control the odors.
Light cycles: Continue to maintain the 12/12 lighting. Some growers slightly reduce light intensity in the final days to support the ripening process, but that’s optional.
Be patient and pay close attention to your plants. The last days can make a big difference in the quality of your harvest! Soon it will be time!
