Hello Diary,
It's time for a new journey.
The 17th round begins on my little Farm and this time, three different strains.
Royal Queen Seeds has teamed up with one of the most recognizable brands in the Cannabis industry,
Mike Tyson, who has been at the top of the industry in America for several years.
And that's how Tyson 2.0 Seeds was born, an exclusive line of cannabis strains created in collaboration with Iron Mike 💪 and Royal Queen Seeds.
The collection includes a total of 6 strains, 3 Feminized strains and three Autoflower strains.
I will have three Autoflower strains in this 17th round, Corkscrew Auto, GOATlato Auto and NYC Sour D Auto.
This diary will be dedicated to the first of them, Corkscrew Auto.
At the beginning, let me introduce CORKSCREW AUTO.
Mike Tyson's corkscrew can send even the biggest, toughest opponents to sleep on the mat.
Corkscrew Auto, created in collaboration with Tyson 2.0 and RQS, is a hard-hitting testament to Mike's Iron Fist that delivers an uplifting,
energizing blow right to your temples.
Combining genetics from Cherry Pie Auto and Tangie, this compact plant is hardy, easy to grow, and ripe with excellent flavors and aromas.
She is slightly sativa dominant and can go the full 10 rounds, reaching harvest approximately 13 weeks after germination.
Loaded with 19% THC, this auto packs a haymaker punch right to the temples,
producing an almost immediate rush of cerebral energy that'll elevate your mood and leave you feeling social, creative, and focused.
Plus, her rich resin is packed with sweet, tropical terpenes that produce aromas and flavors laced with notes of candy-sweet citrus, pineapple, and other ripe fruit.
Perfect for any time of the day when you're after an uplifting, energy-packed buzz.
Corkscrew Auto combines 55% sativa genetics, 45% indica, and a touch of ruderalis,
making for a hardy, vigorous, and fast-flowering auto plant that performs great inside and outside.
Just 12–13 weeks after sowing your seeds, this stocky bush will be packed with bulky colas drenched in sweet, potent resin.
SET-UP ON MY LITTLE FARM:
Box - Secret Jardin DS120W 120x60x178
Lights - MIGRO ARAY 4 - 240W
Ventilation - TT Silent-M 100
Filter - Primaklima filter PK 100/125
Fan - Oscillating Koala Fan
Soil - BioBizz Light - Mix
Pot - 11L Air pots
Seed - Royal Queen Seeds
Nutrition - RQS Organic nutrition
So let's start the countdown.
19/04/2024
Planting. I prepared in advance everything I need, pots, soil, nutrients, seeds...
First, I filled the pots halfway and added Easy Boost Organic nutrients in the form of pellets.
I put 50 g of pellets on the pot size of 11 liters. I mixed the soil well and added another quarter of the soil and put in 11g of SeaWeed.
I mix the soil again, add a little extra soil and put 5 g of Mycorrhize Mix.
Before I filled the pot with soil to the top, I mixed everything well inside the pot.
After that, I soaked the soil well, made a small hole in the middle of the pot and put the seeds to germinate.
Corkscrew arrived in the growbox along with his roommates and began his journey.
The conditions on the farm are as follows - Temperature 28 degrees while humidity is around 45%.
I did not put a humidifier in the hope that the humidity would rise from the moist soil.
Light - The dimmer is at 40% and the lights are 35 cm from the pots.
21/04/2024
The surface of the soil has dried up quite a bit,
so I sprinkled a small amount of water on the surface of the soil to improve the conditions for germination.
23/04/2024
Corkscrew popped up, his roommates too although NYC Sour D just poked his head out of the ground.
24/04/2024
First watering. I prepared only half a liter of water for each plant. before that I lowered the p.H. leads to 6.0.
26/04/2024
Watering. I repeated everything the same as two days earlier.
That's all about germination from me, I hope I have a stress-free trip in the coming weeks.
See you soon.
Hello Diary,
The first week of vegetation on my little "Farm" is behind me.
The beginning of vegetation for Corkscrew started 4 days after it sprouted.
Vegetation starts when the plant puts out at least 4 leaves, that's how I was taught.
In the first week Corkscrew grew to 8 cm and started to form branches.
Brown spots appeared on the lowest leaves.
It looks like a deficiency of Calcium and Magnesium, but considering the age of the plants, this should not happen.
So I couldn't figure out the cause, but the most important thing is that it didn't continue, the new leaves look healthy.
The conditions at the Farm are satisfactory, the temperature is around 28 degrees, while the humidity in the air is around 50-55%.
There should be more humidity, but I didn't use a humidifier this time.
The light is dimmed to 60% and 35 cm away from the plants.
In the first week of vegetation, the lights are on 24 hours, at the beginning of the second week I switch to the 18/6 regime.
The new Migro Aray 4 turned out to be a great choice, the coverage in the grow box is much better, although I noticed that they heat more than the previous Migro 200+.
This week I did not add any nutrients except for CalMg, which I started adding as a preventive measure.
Here's what it looked like last week.
27/04/2024 - Day 1.
The first day of vegetation. Corkscrew started forming new leaves 4 days after it sprouted, which is a sign of entering the vegetation phase.
29/04/2024 - Day 3.
Watering. I prepared 3 liters of water, lowered the pH. at 6.0 and watered all three plants evenly with that amount.
03/05/2024 - Day 7.
After photographing the Corkscrew for the end of the first week of vegetation, I watered the plants.
This time I added CalMg and lowered the p.H. on 6.0 like every time.
Corkscrew Auto - Day 7. - 8 cm.
That's all from me for this week. See you soon.
Hello Diary,
The second week of vegetation is behind me, as you can see from the photos Corkscrew is making great progress.
This week it reached a height of almost 20 cm, got a lot of new fan leaves and started to show the first signs of the pre-flowering phase.
Corkscrew initially had some brown spots on the first leaves, this has not continued, all new leaves emerging are healthy, dark green.
The lights are now set to 18/6, they are about 40 cm away from the plants and they are set to 60% power.
Since the grow box is quite small, the temperature is quite high. The Migro Aray 4 heats up a bit more than my previous lights.
The conditions are good, I would say.
The temperature is around 28 degrees, sometimes even at 29, while the humidity is still around 50%.
This week I continued adding CalMg and started adding Bio Flowerin Booster, specifically one component which is Bigger Flowers.
Here's what it looked like last week.
06/05/2024 - Day 10.
Watering. I prepared 6 liters of water, put CalMg and Bigger Flowers and after that lowered the p.H. on 6.0.
I watered all three plants on the Farm with that amount.
09/05/2024 - Day 13.
Watering. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier.
10/05/2024 - Day 14.
Photographing Corkscrew for the end of the second week of vegetation.
Corkscrew Auto - Day 14. - 19 cm.
That's all from me for this week, thanks to all the blog visitors and good vibes senders.
See you soon.
Hello Diary,
Corkscrew has completed its vegetative phase and is entering its flowering phase.
It is common for autoflowers to start forming flowers after 20 days. At least that's how it is on my little Farm.
The Corkscrew formed very nicely, the branches went wide and the main cola is not so high above the other branches.
Clear signs that she was female appeared on the nodes.
It has grown to a height of 36 cm, which is pretty much in three weeks of vegetation.
Due to the fast growth, I have to raise the height of the lights a little every day so that the plants don't get too close to the lights.
I also increased the power this week to 80%.
Watering is obviously more abundant and more frequent.
Now they get about 2.5 liters every three days, sometimes 4 days.
I continue with CalMg, 1ml/liter, add bio flowering booster (bigger flowers) and this week 3 ml thicker flowers which is a PK booster.
At the second watering, I added one tablet of easy grow booster to get more nutrients for the end of the vegetation.
The temperature in the grow box is high, reaching 30 degrees during the day.
Migro Aray 4 raise the temperature more than I expected.
Still, there are 4 lights and a small space. And summer is just around the corner.
All this together contributes to a higher temperature and I hope that such a temperature will not harm them.
Here's how it looked this week.
12/05/2024 - Day 16.
Watering. This time I put one easy grow booster tablet in 7.5 liters of water.
After it dissolved I lowered the p.H. and watered all three plants with that amount.
16/05/2024 - Day 20.
Watering. I prepared 7.5 liters of water, added 7 ml of CalMg, 4 ml of Bigger Flowers and 3 ml of Thicker Flowers.
After that I lowered the p.H. on 6.0.
I watered all three plants on the Farm with that amount.
17/05/2024 - Day 21.
Photographing Corkscrew for the end of the third week of vegetation.
Corkscrew Auto - Day 21. - 36 cm.
That's all from me, the vegetation is finished and now I'm looking forward to the flowers.
New motifs for photography. See you soon.
Hello Diary,
Corkscrew has officially entered the flowering phase,
the 4th week from the beginning of the vegetation is also the first week of flowering.
As you can see from the photos, it has become crowded at the Farm.
The plants have spread and each is trying to get the best for itself.
The Corkscrew that is in the Grow Box on the left is now the lowest of all three trees on the Farm.
But if I'm going to judge them by their appearance, Corkscrew is the most beautiful.
It formed a stable very nicely, like a Christmas tree.
I especially like how the very top of the plant looks, as if it has some crazy crown on top.
Corkscrew now clearly shows the female gender, welcome to the maturing phase.
The flowers are starting to form, which can be clearly seen by the much lighter shade of green of the leaves.
The other fan leaves are also of a healthy dark green color,
and for now I do not see any changes that could possibly be caused by a lack of some mineral.
That's why I continue to add CalMg with every watering,
I also add Bigger Flowers, which contains an array of enzymes, vitamins, and growth stimulants that are vital to optimal bud formation.
Watering becomes a little more frequent, they ask for more water than the week before.
This week I also cleaned the lower part of the plant, both at Corkscrew and at his roommates.
I removed the twigs and leaves at the very bottom of the stand, maybe I needed more, but time will tell.
The conditions at the Farm are so-so, the temperature is around 30 degrees, which is a few degrees too much, but I can't influence it much.
It's a small grow box and the Migro Aray 4 with 4 lamps obviously raises the temperature quite a bit.
I am thinking of changing the fan and filter.
Here is how the first week of flowering looked like.
19/05/2024 - Day 23.
Watering. I prepared 7 liters of water, added 7 ml of CalMg and 5 ml of Bigger Flowers.
After that I lowered the p.H. on 6.0. With this, I watered all three plants on the farm evenly.
22/05/2024 - Day 26.
Defoliation and watering.
First, I cleaned the lower part of the plant from leaves and twigs to make it easier to water and to have better air flow in the grow box.
After that I watered the plants.
In addition to the standard CalMg and Bigger Flowers, this week I also added 4 ml of Thicker Flowers which is a PK booster.
24/05/2024 - Day 28.
Photographing and measuring how much Corkscrew grew in a week.
Corkscrew Auto - Day 28. - 55 cm.
That's all from me for this week. See you soon and thank you all for visiting.
Hello Diary,
Corkscrew has finished its second week of flowering and as you can see from the photos, it is developing nicely.
He grew another 20 cm this week but he is still the shortest on the farm, both his roommates are growing even more.
Corkscrew continues to bloom, the flowers are forming and week after week I see them getting bigger.
I cleaned the lower part of the plant last week by removing branches and leaves and thus giving it better air flow.
Cola comes out above the other branches, but it has not stretched out too much, which gives it a nicer look, at least to me.
The leaves look healthy, dark green and so far show no signs of anything missing.
Conditions on the Farm are not great.
During the day, the temperature sometimes rises to 31 degrees, which at the same time raises the humidity, which is sometimes as high as 60%.
I hope it won't hurt them too much, especially since the warm days are still to come.
Migro Aray 4, since it has 4 lighting units, heats up much more than the Migro 200+ that I had before, which has two lamps.
If we add to that the size of the grow box, which is not large, we arrive at this situation.
The plants are big and watering is now every other day when I give them each 2.5 liters of water.
After two days, the leaves are already hanging and the pots are light as if there is not even a drop of water.
They drink everything.
I have never had such thirsty plants before.
I continue to add CalMg and Bigger Flowers and that's what I give with every watering.
Here's what it looked like last week.
25/05/2024 - Day 29.
Watering.
I prepared 7 liters of water, put 7 ml of CalMg, and 3 ml of Bigger Flowers.
After that I lowered the p.H. at 6.0 and watered all three plants on the Farm with that amount.
28/05/2024 - Day 32.
Watering.
I repeated the same amount as three days earlier.
30/05/2024 - Day 34.
Watering as two days earlier. 7 liters, CalMg and Bigger Flowers.
31/05/2024 - Day 35.
Photographing and height measurement.
Corkscrew Auto - Day 35 - 73 cm
That's all for this week, thank you all for your visit and support. See you soon.
Hello Diary,
It is the end of the third week of flowering, a total of 42 days from the beginning of the vegetation.
It is nice to see in the photos that the flowers are getting bigger and are slowly starting to cover the entire end of the branch.
In any case, I'm happy with how he's progressing.
Corkscrew started to stagnate in growth, this week only 7 cm, so he will soon reach his maximum height.
There are still many leaves, I remove some leaves here and there, but I would not like to defoliate it too much.
Watering was every other day this week, they ask for a lot of water, so now I'm preparing almost 9 liters of water.
I still add CalMg, 1 ml/lit and bio flowerig booster where I add two components. Bigger flowers and Thicker flowers.
The conditions in the grow box are not great. The temperature is quite high, over 30 degrees.
Summer heat plus light in a small grow box is not the best scenario for ideal conditions.
I should put a small portable air conditioner in that small room, but for now it's just wishful thinking.
The high temperature with lots of greenery and moist soil raises the humidity, which is around 50-55%.
I will see how it will affect the plants, but I am most afraid of the appearance of mold.
Here's what it looked like last week.
02/06/2024 - Day 37.
Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water, added CalMg, Bigger flowers and Thicker flowers and after that I lowered the pH to 6.0.
I watered all three plants on the Farm with that amount.
04/06/2024 - Day 39.
Watering. I repeated the same procedure as two days earlier.
06/06/2024 - Day 41.
Watering.
07/06/2024 - Day 42.
Photographing and height measurement.
Corkscrew Auto - Day 42. - 80 cm.
That's all for this week, see you soon.
Hello Diary,
Corkscrew finished the fourth week of flowering, a total of 49 days from the beginning of vegetation.
The flowers are now large, hard and covered with trichomes. The leaves are dark green, which shows that she is not missing anything.
It has reached 81 cm and it is obvious that it will not grow any more, which is the ideal height for my grow box.
It is still watered every two days when each plant gets about 3 liters of water.
Since I've been growing plants, not one has drunk as much water as these three that are currently growing on my little farm.
I still add CalMg and Bio Flowering Booster.
One of the reasons is the high temperature inside the grow box.
Considering the high temperatures outside, it is still above 30 degrees.
The humidity, thank God, is not higher than 50%, although it would be great if it were lower, but considering everything, I am satisfied.
Here's how it looked this week.
08/06/2024 - Day 43.
Watering.
I prepared 9 liters of water, added CalMg and Bio Flowering Booster and then lowered the pH. on 6.0.
I watered all three plants on the Farm with that amount.
10/06/2024 - Day 45.
Watering.
I repeated the same procedure as two days earlier.
12/06/2024 - Day 47.
Watering.
14/06/2024 - Day 49.
Photography for the end of the seventh week and after that I watered the plants.
Corkscrew Auto - Day 49. - 81 cm.
That's all for this week, see you soon.
Hello Diary,
Another week behind me, Corkscrew looks great.
I started checking the trichomes under the microscope this week.
I can see a few milky trichomes here and there, but most of them are still transparent.
The flowers are big, hard and sticky under the fingers, I'm super happy with how they developed.
Corkscrew is the smallest of the three plants on the Farm, and the only one within the recommended distance from the lights.
Watering is still every two days when it gets about 3 liters of water.
Just this week I added the Bio Flowering Booster and then they will stop adding supplements and nutrients.
The temperature is still high in the grow box, during the day it can sometimes exceed 31 degrees,
but as far as I can see, Corkscrew tolerates it well.
The humidity is about 45%, which is satisfactory.
Here's how it looked this week.
16/06/2024 - Day 51.
Watering.
I prepared 9 liters of water for all three plants inside the grow box.
I added CalMg and Bio Flowering Booster after which I lowered the p.H. on 6.0.
18/06/2024 - Day 53.
Watering.
I repeated the same procedure as two days earlier.
20/06/2024 - Day 55.
Watering.
21/06/2024 - Day 56.
Photographing the plant.
That's all for this week, see you soon.
Hello Diary,
Corkscrew - Day 63. Sixth week of flowering and also its last week.
I honestly didn't think it would be ready so soon, but the trichomes are more or less all milky and that's my main yardstick for harvest time.
Otherwise, my wife is in charge of observation.
She loves looking at plants under a microscope and when I asked her to check the trichome situation, I was surprised when she said, well, it's ready to harvest. 👍
I thought it would be over 70 days for sure.
But great that it is earlier, the plant really looks impressive with huge flowers full of trichomes.
The flowers are hard and dense and I'm really interested in how much the yield will be in the end.
I photographed Corkscrew exactly on day 63, but harvested it three days later.
I wanted the plant to use all the water to avoid potential mold growth.
Sometimes when the flowers are big and dense, if there is a little more moisture in the plant, it is possible that the flower becomes moldy.
Last week, the temperature was around 30 degrees, the humidity was below 50%.
It is not ideal for drying, but when the light is turned off, the temperature and humidity will automatically drop, so it will be just right.
Last week I did not add any nutrients or supplements, I only watered with water.
Here's what it looked like last week.
22/06/2024 - Day 57.
Watering.
I prepared 9 liters of water, for all three plants on the "Farm" and only added Lemon Kick to lower the p.H. on 6.0.
I watered all three plants on the Farm with that amount.
24/06/2024 - Day 59.
Watering. I repeated the procedure as two days earlier.
26/06/2024 - Day 61.
Watering.
28/06/2024 - Day 63.
Photo shoot for the end of the 9th week.
01/07/2024 - Day 66.
Harvest.
Thank you to everyone who followed this trip, thank you for all the positive comments and see you soon with the final report. 💪
Corkscrew Auto, I have nothing but praise for the entire cycle.
I was very excited about all three Tyson 2.0 Auto strains.
Everyone was special in some way, but Corkscrew shined in every way.
Combining genetics from Cherry Pie Auto and Tangie, this compact plant is hardy, easy to grow, and ripe with excellent flavors and aromas.
She is slightly sativa dominant.
Corkscrew was the shortest of all three plants on the farm, 81 cm, which is ideal for the size and height of my grow box.
The lights are at the right distance and it's easier for me to handle it.
The harvest was after 73 days since I put the seed in the ground.
Vegetation lasted three weeks and flowering lasted six weeks, which is usual for automatics.
At least that's how it is on my little farm.
Corkscrew has grown into perfect shape, the main cola rising above the forest of flowers surrounded by lovely dark green leaves is a beautiful sight to me.
I still admire every plant, no matter how many times I look at them they have something magical for me.
Corkscrew threw out a lot of flowers that are big and hard, full of trichomes.
The structure of the flowers is what delighted me the most.
I did not expect the harvest so soon, but as usual, in the last weeks I often observe under the microscope how the trichomes change,
they are the best indicator when it is time to harvest.
The conditions on the farm were challenging, the high temperature inside the grow box was present for all 9 weeks.
Sometimes even above 32 degrees. All three plants withstood it well, including Corkscrew.
Watering was every two to three days and apart from CalMg, I only added Bio Flowering Booster.
In the end, Corkscrew did the whole trip great, coped with the high temperature,
grew into a real beauty and in the end rewarded me with an above-average 92 grams of dried flowers.
As I said at the beginning, it exceeded my expectations.
I definitely recommend this great strain to everyone, Corkscrew Auto will not leave you indifferent.
Hello Diary,
It's always difficult for me to write a final report,
I don't know exactly where to start so as not to repeat myself, but I will briefly write again how the whole journey went.
Combining genetics from Cherry Pie Auto and Tangie, this compact plant is hardy, easy to grow, and ripe with excellent flavors and aromas.
She is slightly sativa dominant and was created in collaboration between Royal Queen Seeds and Tyson 2.0.
The planting was such that after preparing the soil, I put the seeds directly in the ground and after 4 days Corkscrew sprouted.
Vegetation lasted 3 weeks while the flowering phase lasted 6 weeks.
I harvested the plant 72 days after I put the seed in the ground. Really impressively fast.
Throughout the cycle, I added CalMg and Bio Flowering Booster, and watering was quite frequent, every three days.
I also did a little defoliation at the beginning of flowering.
Corkscrew grew 81 cm, which is ideal for my conditions, and adorned with beautiful large flowers.
After harvesting, the plant was dried upside down in the grow box and after 17 days of darkness,
it was ready for final trimming and storage in jars so that the flowers can finish their process.
And here we are at the end, looking at pictures of dried flowers and enjoying its smoke.
-------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------
Smoke report:
After drying and trimming, the flowers look wonderful.
They are large and plump, full of trichomes and smell like citrus.
Corkscrew has 19% THC which is quite a high percentage.
Since it's sativa dominant, it's great as a daytime smoke, which is what I need in the end.
In my case, sometimes sitting at the computer lasts for hours,
in combination with Corkscrew I get focus and creativity, which is the main effect of this strain.
Lighting up Corkscrew Auto is a treat fit for any occasion.
Loaded with 19% THC, producing an almost immediate rush of cerebral energy that'll elevate your mood and leave you feeling social, creative, and focused.
Plus, her rich resin is packed with sweet, tropical terpenes that produce aromas and flavors laced with notes of candy-sweet citrus, pineapple, and other ripe fruit.
Perfect for any time of the day when you're after an uplifting, energy-packed buzz.
And that's it from me.
Thank you all for the kind words in the comments, support and good energy. It's great to be a part of this community. See you soon.
Here is the same curtain, I also love those rods that are for the scrog net, I see that you left them too, I leave them to avoid the suction effect of the vacuum cleaner that crushes my plants when there are a lot
