16/06 About a month old. Stunted quite a bit, but starting to grow again after the transplant. Still feels very small, but this is my first photo, so I’m hoping she Will catch up

Not using growlights (and the weather has been cloudy). Is it too early to introduce her to the outside in cloudy weather and very, very mild wind? Photone app says ~2000-2500 ppfd. Anything else I can do to help her? Thanks

Seeds in the wild grow from direct sun. Its best to expose it early on. do it in small increments and look up something called hardening off. This is what you want to be doing. Cloudy days are great for getting them used to the spectrum and wind. I direct plant my cannabis seeds outdoors and give them no special treatment in terms of shading them from the elements outdoors. its sink or swim for them. They almost all grow up just fine, there are some dude seeds every now and then. Eg i am planing out my outdoor grow this year and have about 7 plants out there. planted last week and the majority of them popped up already. Given its in a small pot the they can dry out faster once the roots are established, when its ready, transplant it, I like doing this on a day it may rain on or is overcast so it less stress for them. Good Luck!

I have to leave her alone for 3-4 days. What gives her the best chance of survival? 1) Transplant early into a bigger pot and leave outside (8h of direct sun, 9-18 Celsius) 2) Transplant early and put inside (10-12h of window “sun” 3) Half dome her inside 4) Half dome her outsid

My suggestion would be to transplant it into a larger pot. At week 3, you should be able to transplant no problem. When you water before you leave if you have transplanted it into a larger pot. Make sure you utilize proper watering techniques by saturating the entire medium. This is done by watering enough over about 10 min to have roughly 10-20% of the water come out the bottom of the pot. This sounds like a lot at the moment but I can assure you that if done correctly your roots will grow much faster and the plant will be healthier. Allow for the pot to dry back out before your next water, at this stage it is roughly every 4 days or so. I also like to pick the pot up just before I water to get a feel for weight, then once I’m done watering. After a few times and a few grows you can really tell when the plant needs water by just the weight alone. Also, if it is outside now, keep it outside. I hope this helps.

I'm a new grower, so I haven't seen any plants having two stems like this one before. I'm looking to transplant sometime in the next week to a 1-2 gallon fabric pot. How can I make use of the two stems (photo)? Should I skip topping and just tie down the 2 main branches? Thank

You have 2 and a half stems if you count the one in the middle too😉 But I would get rid of the little one and top the other two. Then put them in a bigger pot. That way you'll get a nice bushy plant that's not growing too tall. Much success ;-)

First outdoor photo (Erdpurt fem, AceSeeds) - How much does the darkness needed to flower vary between strains? - Will she only flip to flowering once the daylight hits 12h in mid/late September (Northen Europe)? - Any factors other than light that affects flowering? Thank you

12-12 is the cycle for flowering , its for all strains the same BUT Indica dominant types can and will flower at 15 hours light ... she will begin to flower in the end of august(NE).. but you can also put her in the dark (in a spare room somewhere or closet) for 12h pd when you think its time! (is what i always do when i grow pfotoperiod outside, (worx great) GL!

I want to repot this photoperiod from its 8L pot to a 20L pot (2G-5G). Used all pots in middle sizes. It’s my first photo, so not certain when it will flip to flowering here in zone 8b. When is the optimal time to repot? Ideal time in the new bigger pot before flowering? Thanks

I would do it now. She's big enough(leaves hang over bucket). The more roots till she flips, the better. Happy growing 🤞

Hey, she looks a healthy beauty. Now LST for me I would have waited untill she’s a little bigger BUT thats just me. You want to be tieing the furthers point of the plant to the pot like you have done, make the connections or knots a little tighter as they grow they can slip off. Just keep doing what you have done.. prune lower for that will not be worth harvesting. I also like to place a net over the top and form into a scrogg

Could / should I continue topping this photo (Erdpurt)? 12/12 will hit on the 15th of September, but not sure when this strain will flip to flowering. Thanks

Hello MumbaTuu, Looks like this plant started pre-flowering already. I would NOT top again. The plant got a great shape for going into the flowering phase. Happy Growing Buddy! 💚

Thanks for helping confirming bud rot. The other top shoots does not seem to have bud rot. Can I safely try to save some or should I toss both plants? Pics of other shoots which does not look rotten 🤞? Thanks

If the other plant does not have any signs of rot no need to kill it. Do keep an eye on it though. Bud rot is more a localized problem in the plant and when it gets out of hand it can infect the whole thing. The molds fuzziness are its spore arms. so the more spores it releases the higher chance they will mold another part of the plant or another plant in the same area. Spores can survive for a long time and wait for the perfect conditions to grow. Low air movent, high RH and fluctuating temps. The spores are everywhere can't avoid it 100% but can lower some risk. One way to help avoid this is by keeping the RH low, and air flow up, this helps prevent the spores from germinating also air filtering but that's more an indoor thing. For me when I grow outdoors, I can not control the wet season near harvest, almost always 99% of the time my plant gets a bit of budrot or WPM in sept/oct. So what I do now is I only grow autoflowers outdoors and they finish up before the wet season starts in aug early sept and I avoid the issue outright. Other options are to grow big larfy sativa's, with lower bud density, this allows them to breath more and helps prevent the mold from finding a nice spot to germinate in. To tell if its rotten look for off smells, textures and colours. It will make it smell sour and gross, can turn it into mushy and slimy and the colours look like dead plants, brown, black, some yellowing. Good Luck!
