First Grow: Kush & 2046

First time growing, praying for this to go well! I’m in Zimbabwe, Africa, raining season is late this year so climate is very hot(30degrees) and very dry Will try to update pics every week and keep you guys posted ;)

Week5 one plant is doing pretty good. Decided to go for topping then bending, I also cut the lowest branches. The other plant seems to have had too much heat stress and have not grown much.. Especially two of them are suffering so I put them back inside and trying now to make them recover by providing them some humidity with plastic bottles, should work hopefully

Left with 7 plants, the 2 suffering from heat didn't make it they were too weak, one is still in "intensive care" you never know. Now transplanted them and put them in the garden. Thought it was a bit early but seeing all the roots at the bottom made me think it was a good idea, i think those pots were also way too hot for the plants they should be better now. Mixed my garden soil with compost, manure and perlite hopefully it will be fine.

Friday 21st December Veg Day 55 Added a net to give them some shade midday, they were getting too much heat and sun. Rainy days and getting hundreds of snails I’ve never seen so many before.. added some egg shells around the plants and had great results drowning them with beer! Can’t wait to see them grow big, hope they will. Wondering if I should switch to biogrow, and I’ve seen some growers add biobloom in veg stage, don’t know if I should

Thursday 27 December Day 61 Ok so 2 of the small ones decided it’s time to go in to flowering, and that’s no good... think they are getting less sun because of the raining season. I’m afraid the others might start flowering soon.. I’m also getting some sort of bugs and I’m not sure what they are. I prepared a natural garlic, oil, soap, and water mix that I found on the web and hope it will do the trick to get rid of them. That’s about it

Wednesday 2nd January Day 67 Flowering has begun for all the plants, so I messed up somehow I must have started the grow too late... Other then that I’m also getting heavy rains all week so I can’t feed the plants, I’ll try find a moment to give them some biogrow and bio bloom. hoping I’ll still manage to get at least 500g with these plants but I doubt it, I’ll do better on my next grow..

Sunday 6th Jan Day 71 Still lots of rain and trying to add my fertilizer, they are flowering but still growing ! Will be gone for a week so had to post the pics earlier

Monday 14 Dec Day 79 Bought some Efficient microorganisms for the soil apparently it’s really good stuff Also got myself an indoor room to get some clones, trying with 3 cuttings of Kush and 3 of the Medical, hopefully they will go back to veg with light set to 22/2, knowing I get power cuts here... if it goes well i’ll try keep one of each as mother plants Finally, made a mistake on biogrow and biobloom instead of putting 6ml for 2L I did 3, oh well...

Tuesday 22nd Jan Day 87 Lost a plant because of the strong winds the stem broke, so did some more clones and going to have a little taste of the kush.. From the 6 previous clones I started last week, took only 9-10 days for the 3 medical 2046 plants to grow roots and get transplanted, the 3 kush don’t seem to grow any roots, hopefully they will next week, plus I have now 6 more kush, hopefully some of them will make roots

Tuesday 29 Jan Day 94 Aphid attacks on 2 plants.. Got 3 medical 2046 and 2 kush clones for now on their way for reveg 🤞 Update: after watering them one Medical 2046 fell, then checked in the soil where it broke and.... Full of white ants they ate the whole stem! Oh Africa... Gonna have another pretaste..

February 6th Day 102 Week of caterpillars.. Branches from some buds are bending and need support Might stop the feeding now for the 2 bigger kush plants

Wednesday 13th Feb Day 109 Starting to flush the first kush plant and one of the 2046, will continue feeding the rest for another week or two

23 February Day 119 2 plants left: 1 kush and 1 2046

1st March Day 125 Still waiting for the 2 outdoors to finish flowering All clones are doing good, transplanted 4 of them into 10gallon pots
