Week 5 brought some new things. As a new grower I’m always wanting to see How the plants will react to certain changes. On one of the three girls I have going I started some gml training. She has responded very well so far and the rest of the branches are starting to catch up! I also did some more lst training on the other 2 girls to help with height.
Start of week 6 I’ve noticed the plant I did gml training to is bouncing back big time and these girls are almost ready to be switched into flower. Set up my trellis and now we wait. Another week and I’ll send these girls into flower.
Flipped these girls into flower and performed a little more lst with the trellis. Can’t wait to see these in a few weeks! All three ladies look great on day 2. I have noticed that the middle lady (#2) looks like she’s stretching more! Also I’ve been using The General Hydroponics Micro, Grow, and Bloom series for nutrients. No option to select but I love this line so far!!
Week 3 of flower for these beauties. They’re starting to show a ton of pistils on the us sites which are numerous. I’ll be updating about every other day here on out until harvest! End of week 3 flower these babies are starting to get frosty!!
These ladies are starting to stack very nicely and are starting to give off a piney scent. All 3 look strong and hearty with sugar leaves starting to form everywhere!!
Week 11 and these ladies are really starting to fill out and pack with tricomes. Orange hairs every where too. This being my first Grow and flower not 100% sure what they should look like at this stage but they look beautiful to me!! Also cut down the trellis very carefully to be able to position these ladies for better light coverage!!
This week did no start off so well noticed some powdery mildew starting to form on a few of my leaves. Decided to defoliate quite a bit and remove several bad leaves while also spraying a mix of apple cider vinegar and water. Seems to be doing the trick. Also threw a bigger box fan into the tent to help with air circulation.
At the end of week 12 beginning week 13 caylixes are nearly all orange and starting to curl. Looked through the jewlers microscope and found around 70% tricomes cloudy and about 10% Amber. Decided to start flushing and in about 1-2 weeks we’ll harvest these babies!
These ladies were a breeze for my very first Grow. Did not have any nutrient deficiencies while using Fox Farm Ocean Forest soul. I cut them and hung them on 1/18. I will update with the weights after they’re done drying. The #1 CBD Og plant was the one I cloned and kept as a prize pheno, as it looks like she will be the highest yielded of the 3.
Loved the way these babies grew wish they were a little bigger but I am going to upgrade to a single 600W led instead of 2x 300W lights that I used for this one.00
Best of luck on your venture into cannabis cultivation. It becomes an addiction in itself. Your plant is looking nice and full. Definitely ready to flower st your leisure 🤪 I am currently growing 2 Royal 👑 Gorilla’s 🦍, and 1 Gorilla 🦍 Bomb 💣, and 2 Velvet Bud in my garden at the moment that are 35 days into Veg. The Gorilla Bomb has a cross of THC Bomb in it. I just hacked them up starting to do a modified manifold which will extend my Veg by a week or two. I post bi weekly videos to my YouTube Channel. The flowering of your plants looks to be progressing very well. There not much better than watching the flowering nodes begin to take shape and form beautiful buds. I'm eager to see how your grow finishes up and I wish you all the best in the rest of growing these girls. Cheers :D
Looks good but blurpie light photos kinda suck. Would you please post a few using flash and no led light on next time? Can't see any coloring with it. Anyhow, good luck and welcome to GD!
