6/4/2024 Day 15 Temp: 74.4 F RH: 66.4% VPD: 0.95kPa Light: 3/10 Inline: 1/10 Oscillating: 2/10 PPFD: At 414 µmol/m²/s The UIS plug from AC Infinity really stretched the humidifier the way I was hoping that it would. I emailed Build-a-soil to ask a few questions about light power and watering the reservoir of the Earthbox. They are so helpful and willing to talk, it really is something special. I came back and took everything out of the tent, adjusted it so that the inline fan had no bends in it. Redid the wiring so I can easily get to the side of the tent. Opened up the vent because of my concerns with the fresh air exchange. I lowered the plant container by removing one of the crates below the plant. Prepared .5 gallons of water to mist the soil if need be but ended up putting that into the Earthbox after the email I had with BAS. I put one gallon of water into the Earthbox to ensure the air gap would be in place. Turning up the light to 3/10, got the inline fan 1/10 and oscillating fan at 2/10. Her scent is starting to waft out of the tent when I open it. Not much but what I am smelling is exciting me. I am seeing positive reactions from the light increase. 6/6/2024 Day 16 Temp: 80.8 F RH: 72.6% VPD: 0.99 kPa Plant Height: 4.5” Wow! Exploded overnight! We got trees! I am falling in love with gardening. No water, no maintenance. Be back tomorrow! 6/7/2024 Day 17 Temp: 84.3 F RH: 72.3% VPD: 1.05 kPa Light: 5/10 Inline: 0/10 Oscillating: 2/10 Higher Fan: 1/10 PPFD: At 414 µmol/m²/s Plans look amazing. We have our first full set of leaves the very first true five leaf cannabis leaf. We’ve grown a half an inch overnight. The plant distance from the light is 12 1/2 inches for the tallest 13 1/2 for the middle and 13 for plant number three Light 5/10 PAR is 37.9 #1 43.3 #2 and 37.3 for #3 I will keep the height of the light at the same height, and we will increase the light intensity after doing our DLI calculations. Note: Raised the light power to #6 6/9/2024 Day 18 Temp: 87.3 F RH: 72.2% VPD: 1.18kPa Light: 6/10 Oscillating: 2/10 Fan: 1/10 Just growing massively. Taking all the light I am throwing at them. I raised the light up two clicks on each side. Environment Increases: Light: 7/10 Oscillating: 4/10 Fan: 2/10 I checked the reservoir and it looks slightly less but I can still see water at the bottom of the basin. The plants are showing no signs of stress from dry back conditions so I will wait until tomorrow to add more water. 6/10/2024 Day 19 Temp:88.5 F RH: 71.0% VPD: 1.34kPa 1:03pm Light: 7/10 Oscillating: 2/10 Fan: 2/10 Leaf temp 76 F Light to Plant distance: 10inches Plant #1 8 3/4 inches kLux 55 Plant #2 6 inches kLux 56.5 Plant #3 6 1/2 inches kLux 53.4 Water empty now. I added close to a gallon, 3/4 gallon with the proper Rootwise Complete, Bio-Catalyst. 6/12/2024 Day 21 Temp: 81.6 F RH: 73.5% VPD: 0.96kPa Light: 7/10 Oscillating: 2/10 Reg Fan: 4/10 Today we will add BAS Build-A-Flower Top Dress and Kashi Blend. Then we will defoliate. Middle plant is showing pistils and the other two should not be far behind. I definitely didn’t expect that but we’re just gonna roll with it cause that’s what we do. It’s actually exciting. We top dressed then put 2 gallons down the spout with all three Rootwise products and some Quillaja Extract. Be back tomorrow. 6/13/2024 Day 22 Temp: 82 F RH: 70% VPD: 1.17kPa I went ahead and chopped the middle plant. Mycelium is appearing below and that’s rad! I lowered the plant off the crate I had it on and went ahead and raised the light power to 10/10 because my PAR was good. All plants are showing pistils now. Bloom/Flower has begun. Light distance 18 inches now light power 10/10 50kLux

Very exciting, happy growing, looking forward to follow your progress. I always wanted to plant on soil, but coco is so convenient for indoor, I know it's only excuses. Glad you mentioned the auto pod system, did not know I wanted that 😂 At the Moment I am using an drip irrigation system that is mounted directly on top of the reservoir, but I had a lot of issues, automated moisture sensors suck, never saw a functional system, even the capacitive ones, they just drift over time, no way an Arduino will work reliability with that. Also the plants tend to stick their fingers into the cookie jar, as their roots will grow straight into the reservoir, turning my drip irrigation into a full blown deep water system. Luckily aerating the tank always protected me against root rot.

@DaddyGreenThumb, thank you I appreciate you checking in on me. Day 53 today and I got my journal caught up. They are so pretty and I have been so fortunate not to deal with any issues, deficiencies or anything really. My biggest issue has been defoliation and late LST. I want to remove fan leaves but am a firm believer in them needing to be around to catch those rays. I’ve taken a few off but by bit to help focus energy on the tops without stunting growth. We shall see in the end!

@RegularWizardCo, i feel you, growing can take a lot of time from you so choosing a style that fits your needs is super important! I also work with light living soil/organic because its easy, fun and works so well! Still waiting for your harvest details🙃 cheers from Germany

@Falscher_Hase_069, Thank you so much! It took me months to decide how I was going to grow but when I landed on BAS Earthbox grow, I knew that was it. It had to be automated enough I could just check on them once a day if need be. My schedule with family, kids, work, sports is too much to try and learn any other way. It has been an amazing experience. I am done and curing so I will post the last entries for the journal tomorrow at the latest. Smells wonderful and my harvest was bigger than expected! I am lucky it went the way it did. I had issues arise and it was awesome learning experience. I am hooked 100%. Thanks again!

@gottagrowsometime, I appreciate the love! I thought maybe it stretched a bit farther than I wanted but I know the bud sites will fill the length of the stalk. This plant just beasts out and is constantly surprising me. Looking forward to the finish line for sure.
