Toucan Sam: Follow Your Nose

Soaked in water with Bigfoot root stimulator. Planted directly into Fox Farms Happy Frog soil. Sprouted in a couple days. I went with something that’ll have an interesting terpene profile this time. I wanted fruity.

She’s growing very quickly. So much so that I decided to transplant to her final pot. It won’t take her long to fill it with roots. I almost wish I’d run a Scrog. But I don’t have the setup for it anymore.

Cruising along. Filling in the bigger pot like a champ. Pretty soon she won’t have to share space with her siblings, and she can’t strerch her legs.

Coming along nicely. One more week and I’ll flip to 12/12.

She’s ready to flower. I’ll defoliate later and flip to 12/12.

One week of flower down. I forgot to measure the height before the lights shut off. I’ll get it later. So far, so good. I can’t wait to start smelling banana.

Second week of flower down. I’ll be defoliating later this week. Her leaves are leaning sativa. I’ll be giving her some Tiger Bloom soon.

Alternating food and water. Going to start smelling soon. Stretch should be over.

She smells very strong, very early in the game. There’s a definite funk to it. I can’t inagine what the smell will be like by harvest time. I’m just alternating food and water.

5 weeks of flower down. So frosty. And very topheavy. I preemptively staked the two main colas right after I took this picture. I’m waiting for banana smell, but my nose is worthless this week. 😄

Another week of flower in the books. Buds are getting bigger. My nose is worthless right now, and all the smells of the tent mingle because they’re so strong. 😄 So I’m unsure of any banana scent. All I know is the frosty buds look delicious.

Getting closer. Buds are getting big and maturing nicely. I’ll ptobably just give her water the next two weeks. I’m so glad I supported this beast. Very sativa leaves and structure. With fat effing buds! 😄

Harvesting at day 60. She smells fruity and sweet. With a hint of banana in there. I’m impressed as hell with the density at day 53. I’ve had to add extra support to the branches. If the smoke is as sativa as the fan leaves, I’m in for a treat. P.S. I’ve already started another Strawberry Banana Grape, based on testimony from @romcash101, other diaries, and what I’ve seen and smelled myself in my own tent.

Fantastic strain. Grew easily, only needing help as the buds became so dense that they weighed the branches down. Incredible smoke, coupled with a very nice terpene profile. This is one I will likely keep in my rotation. I’ve easily smoked 10 grams of it before it was properly cured, so the weight is a little off. 😄
