Dutch Passion Auto Orange Bud

iqpiiqpi Starting my second grow while the first is in Week 6 just for fun. Using BioBizz All Mix and now added nutrients for now. Tap water is by default around PH 6-7, so nothing to be concerned about. Germination was in wet paper towels and took 24h for 1mm tap root and another 24h for around a cm. Planted to soil then and a day or two later it saw the light of day on 21st of May.

iqpiiqpi Added a stick, as the stem is quite thin still. DLI is at 12, so i don't suspect it to be stretching. Day 9 - Put her deeper into soul. The root(s) was barely going in. Looks still happy on Day 10. Adding a little bit of CalMag to every watering. My #1 shows some signs of deficiency, so i'll do it

iqpiiqpi Starting Week 13 healthy. Burying her deeper didn't damage and didn't even seem to have stressed her. Growing with 12-14 DLI and adding CalMag to every watering. Going for 0,5L every 2-3 days. Will add some N-K organic fertilizer in very low dosages by the end of the week. Started LST on the main stem on Day 18and will likely top it. Topped on Day 19.

iqpiiqpi Waiting for her to flip into flower this or next week. Added a humidifier to get into the low 50s on RH.

iqpiiqpi She is getting more space and more humidity, as my #1 is finishing and I'm cutting off some parts already and got a humidifier now. She's getting one liter every 2-3 days with cal mag and 0,5ml BioBloom by now. Will go up with the water as soon as first flowers Day 30: She didn't switch to flower yet. Just pushing more leaves and probably stretching a bit. Seems like she might be taking a bit longer than my white widow.

iqpiiqpi I harvested plant #1 completely and #2 has all the room for itself. This allows to bring the LED closer and hopefully reduce heat in the summer now. At day 42 I picked some yellowing leaves and spotted forst signs of slight nutrient burn. I have added 4-0-4 ferts when the leaves yellowed and apparently it's time to stop that. Internodal spacing seems quite nice so far. There is a little smell but smells more like an, regular weed instead of cannabis. First signs of frosting.

iqpiiqpi Some leaves got yellow and/brown spots. I defoliated most of them and also cut off lower buds to focus on A-/B-Buds.

iqpiiqpi She's drinking a lot now. She'd probably take 2L every 36h. With 3L i get too much run off. 2 seems to be the sweet spot, which means watering every other day due to the heat. Update Day 52 or so: went up to 2,5L of water. Slow pour for less runoff The smell is really not intense. It smells like weeds (non-cannabis) but absolutely no indication of citrus yet. Day 55: I have cut off many smaller bud sites. As we are only allowed to have 50g per person and I already have roughly 40g of White whidow, i sacrificed some popcorn. Will do the same for some of the WW depending on dry weight of the orange bud.

iqpiiqpi Nothing new as of starting into week 9.

iqpiiqpi My plant looks a bit weird. Older fan leaves are turning white partially. Initially i thought the burnt tips were overfeeding, but as I read online it can also be a sign of P deficiency, so I'm adding more flower nutes than recommended now.

iqpiiqpi Closing in slowly. Trichomes are still clear. It's not very frosty and doesn't smell all that much. The overall structure is really nice though and the bud sites are very consistent. I'm assuming to get quite some yield. Maybe around 50g dry, which -considering slight problems with nutrition and - seems perfect to me. Anyways, I will have to get rid of some, due to legal constraints and my very minimally reducing stock of white widow. Vaping once or twice a week will keep me stocked for at least year I guess. Even though it's an Auto, I'm reducing hours of light, due to summer heat.

iqpiiqpi Week 12 started and the buds are thickening up nicely. The trichomes smell like citrus when rubbed with the fingers, but the plant overall still doesn't have a super penetrating scent.
