I was worried about the temperatures at night (as low as 6 degree Celsius) but the plant was doing really well
Nutrients: only some organic tomato fertilizer and self made wormcastings. Nothing fancy.
The Critical exploded during the last two weeks. I saw a video about mainlining and topped the plant after just 3 nodes. Hopefully everything goes to plan.
Lots of rain during the last two weeks, but still flourishing. Due to heavy rain no ph adjustments. No further nutrients or fertilizer has been added.
Problems startet with pests, I have both Thrips and fungus gnats. I was able to reduce the damage with Neem Oil, but there are still some of them left
Here you can see my version of Main-Lining. Looks so easy when done in videos, but I made a couple of mistakes along the way. Tried to document a couple of them. The critical is very forgiving, almost no stunted grow after rigorous hst, recovering stems after snapping them by accident.
The Pineapple Express gets the LST, but seems to stay very small.
Pests aren’t completely gone, but thrips damage seems to be under control.
Nutrients only self made worm tea
Can I do things better? Any recommendations?
Critical is recovering very well after the last hst. I’m very excited how the canopy will turn out, so far it looks promising.
Pineapple Express going into flower, it stayed very compact so far. I hope it will grow fast during flower.
Fertilizer: selfmade wormcastings
Ph: no control so far. Will keep an eye on that during flower, water is to high where I live (around 7.4).
Do you see the brown spots on the leaves? I presume it’s because of burns due to the neem oil, or do you think it’s because of deficiencies?
Feel free to comment, critique recommend smth.
Happy growing 💚
Here’s my weekly update. Have been gone for a couple of days and didn’t recognize the plants. Especially the critical is growing like „weed“. It’s amazing to compare it to last weeks progress.
Days a re getting shorter now, I hope the critical will flip into flower soon.
The Pineapple Express stays a little small. So I decided to overthink my non fertilizer approach and got the biobizz bloom. Hopefully that will do something :)
Happy growing everyone. Feel free to comment, critique or recommend something.
Two weeks gone and the critical is growing like a champion.
Minimal organic fertilizer (biobizz) and ph regulation (6.8). Showing no deficiencies so far. Since the days are getting shorter, the critical is showing very little signs of preflower for almost two weeks now. I hope it will flip soon.
The Pineapple Express stays small. Although there is some development during flowering state, it could be bigger I think.
Fertilization was basic: biobizz once a week
Weather was a mix out of hot and sunny days and heavy rain. But the plants seem to like it.

Happy growing everyone!
Couldn’t care a lot for the plants this week due to work.
Growth is pretty impressive though.
Critical is definitely stretching at this point. Unfortunately it’s still very hesitant to flip into flower. Hopefully soon :)
The Pineapple Express is just doing its thing, nice flowers are forming but the plant stays small. I’m not into it for the quantity, so I am happy about the frost that’s visible at this point.
Happy growing everyone!
Last week was very hot, on the terrace, the temperature went up to 40 degrees c. +
I think for the critical it was a bit too hot, the Pineapple Express loved it though and thanked me with a lot of frost ❄️
The smell is wonderful: citrusy, piny, slightly sweet.
Nutrients just intuitively every 4 or 5 days to the bottom of the pots.
Will keep you updated, happy growing everyone 💚
Again, not much progress with the critical.
Weather was pretty inconsistent this week and I paid the price: experienced bud rot in two places. I tried to react fast and cut down the top parts of the buds that experienced it. Hopefully that was enough.
Since the plant is far from ready to harvest, I try to let it mature a bit more with the risk of more bud rot forming.
Last night there was heavy rain and the buds are completely wet now. I will keep you posted if the plant survives.
Happy growing everyone. May the weather be with you 💚
Hey guys, its been a long time that I posted my last update.
I couldn’t take care about the plants for the last month due to a lot of work and vacation.
The critical has finally flipped into flower and it’s beginning of September. Hope it will finish soon and the weather will be on my side!
A couple of mishaps along the way: low stress training almost turned out to destroy a main stem, when I heard a splitting noise. I tried to fix it with basic sticky tape. Worked fine so far.
The biggest problem was a crane that I so bright at night that you could probably read a newspaper. But the plant still managed to flip into flower.
I will keep you updated. Might be interesting to see if it can grow with all that light pollution.
Some deficiencies are starting to show. Probably because I just gave the plant regular water with no ph correction and no nutrients for the last month… will take care about that.
Hi again, long time no updates because of vacation and a lot of work. The plant didn’t get enough attention for sure! So there were problems when i finally came back. Lower leafs turning yellow and falling off.
Turned out there was a lot of mildew around the whole plant. Fortunately I recognized it before any flowers were contaminated.
Treated the mildew with neem oil and milk. Worked out very well, so no mildew any more.
The plant is in flower for 4 weeks now, but it still looks very early in the process. It won’t finish until the end of October probably. Wish me luck with the weather.
I try to keep you updated about the flowering, since there is a lot more happening now :)
Happy about any suggestions about the yellowing leaves in the lower segment of the plant.
PH is around 6,4 - living soil
Nutes: biobizz and worm tea

Slowly the buds are thickening up. Really exciting to see it in this phase.
I have problems with mildew. Tried to spray the plant with milk, but the mildew is still there.
Any ideas what to do when I am already in flower?
In the last pictures you will see the problems my plant had a week ago. Bit by bit more leafs got infected with mildew and grey mould.
I tried everything organic like spraying the plant with milk and baking soda. Nothing worked. So I decided to harvest a little bit in case the infection kept going.
My last try was spraying the plant with self made worm tea, because I read something about that.
What can I say guys.
The plant recovered :)
There is not much growth anymore but will let the plant finish in the nice autumn weather now until the harvest time is perfect.
Btw the result of the already dried and early harvested buds were great in terms of effect.

Happy growing
Hello everyone
Finally the day has come. The plants weren’t quite ready yet. Maybe 1 more week would have been perfekt. But since the weather is cold and humid, the first signs of bud rot have been showing and I didn’t want to take the risk.
It has been a great journey, also with the community here. I learned so much and will definitely grow again.
For my first grow I am super happy with the results. I will definitely try again, correct some errors I made along the way and keep you posted :)
All the best for everyone during winter and see you next season 🍀
