Watching the Northern Lights (First Grow, Automatic)
Great Strain for Beginners. Nice smell (citrus, herbs, pine). Very resistant and fast! Not the biggest nugs and moderate yield (which I’m my case is a good thing because we are only allowed 50g of dried buds in Germany). Moderate to strong potency (I would guess between 15 and 20% THC).
I decided to wait one more week and chop on the end of week 10. The Buds showed some nice frosty Trichomes and some clear signs of purpling. I had a pretty bad fungus gnat infestation at this point which got significantly worse during flushing. In the end I was giftet with nearly 50g of nice Buds which will be cured in Grove Bags for the next weeks. Overall a great first growing experience with little to no complications.
@Suemchen, Thank you! I think I blasted the plant with too much light during the stretching phase. But everything else looks good to me (especially for the first grow as I was only trying to gather some experience 😅)
@nudepsychic, hard to answer. I found it pretty noticable but not that far reaching. But it was very citrussy/ orangy which kind of masked the typical cannabis smell. But I can't tell if it is a strong smelling strain because it was my first contact with a live cannabis plant. But as far as I know, my neighbours did not notice 😅 (even I grew another smaller one of these on the balcony).
