1st week: seed sprouts after 2 days in a paper towel inside my socks drawer. Same night it goes into a 25lt fabric pot filled with 20lt of Biobizz Light mix, about 5 cm deep in the center. I gently cover it with soil and then spray and mist on top and on the surrounding area about 80ml of water every 4 hours (or every time I check that it has dried out).
First 3 days only water, misting and waiting for a few hours for the surface of the soil to feel a little crusty/dried, then mist again some more. About 300 ml per day. It seems to dry out quick.
I hang the light higher and fool around with the intensity/distance for a couple of days. I get desired/acceptable humidity and temp conditions (25 C / 55% +-) using about 50% of light intensity and at about 40 cm above the seedling and leave it at that.
Day 4 I serve a 500 ml dose of water with 1 ml Bio Heaven.
Day 5 Lots of misting with water on the surface of the soil, mostly a few cm around the seedling. Trying to drive its little roots towards the outer side of the pot. Or at least that's what I'm fantasizing I'm doing.
Day 6 I serve a 500 ml dose of water with 1 ml Bio Heaven.
Day 7 All is ok.
Looking really great! It's huge!
My experience, if the plant gets strong light intensity, and enough nutes to handle that light, the plant/buds grow short and tight, and don't stretch or get airy.
@soul79, keep seeing your questions about ways to lower temps. What has worked for me is putting all fans you have, or all you can fit even just 1 at floor level pointing up into the plant. Heat rises as we all know, and doing this takes that cooler air at the bottom and pushes it to the top. It also greatly helps airflow within your plant, and doesn't mess with leaves surface temps. I have also put ice cubes in my humidifier and that dramatically helps lower the temps. I've dropped it at least 5° with just that.
@Moon_garden, thanks bro, I really appreciate you checking this out! She is starting to fill up the tent alright. I was a bit worried after the first stretch, seeing all that space from one bud site to another...It has started filling up since, but a bit slower than I had imagined. Happy growing bro! 👍
@Marshydrots1000, hey thanks for checking it out! I checked out your diaries, doing an amazing job. Any tips you would have on lowering the temperature?
Day 42 and you talking bout harvest? My friend. Chill chill chill. Focus on feeding your girls, do not overwater, and keep growing. You got several weeks to go before you can even start to worry about harvesting time. You got this bruv!!!
@McGrowin, thanks so much brother! I know, it's beginner's worrying, Not familiar with this stage where you can see light green coloured buds for a few weeks without them growing by the same speed they did so far... and the absence of trichomes worried me quite a bit. Takes some mental practice to being patient at this stage and not overfeed or overdo it in nutrients, I guess. I think I just managed to qet over that stage. I appreciate your comment brother!
