This is another test of mine to try to flower my 16 week old mother. I won't really call it a mother, but since I've taken two clones from her, she can be called a mother.
Pretty strong strain. Can control CBD/THC Ratio by harvesting from 8 to 10 Wks of Flowering. 10 Wks Would be more CBD based. These two plants are grown from seeds and they were my mother plants when I was experimenting with clones. So they were flipped after 12 wks of vegging. One almost died from lack of water, but I revived it. Stay tuned for my 3rd in this WW series "return of the clones"
Finally understand why growing small buds are not worth it.
This is my second grow and it''''s part of my experiment on how this plant works. I am going to do a series with 5 parts. All of them stems from the 4 seeds I started from the same company and strain. Part I - regular grow from seeds. Part II - Flowering mothers. Part III - Growing from 1st gen clones. Part IV - Growing from Second gen clones. Part V - Trying to force feminized clones to seed.
*** October 2017 update ***
I. COMMENTS AFTER 6 WKS. Curing for 6 weeks in cigar humidor. The Bouquet of the white widow is more pronounced, the initial chlorophyll smell is gone. But I think this is either a different phenol type or because they were mothers. The smell is still very different compared to one of my girls (F2 is her name and it''s in my first white widow diary. ) F2''s smell is more intense and the effects are also different. F2 is less psychoactive but more soothing, better pain relief and puts me to sleep quicker.
II. CIGAR HUMIDOR CURING - for u cigar lovers out there, you probably know the benefits of storing cigars in a humidor. I think it is similar for cannabis. I am still learning and I have four grows under my belt now, all of the same strain though.
PROS - More stable RH and TEMP, spend less money on humi packs, USE ONLY DISTILLED water in mini humidifier for humidor, discrete and looks good around the house, (not everyone will agree to this but I am firm believer in this for my cigars) some higher quality humidors made from high quality cedar wood. I like the humidors made by Elie Bleu. They cost a fortune new, but you can get good deals from Ebay for used ones. They add a kind of sweetness to my cigars both in smell and taste. Try it if you are also a cigar collector, I think it is worth the extra money. And you only have to put it in there for 3 to 6 months to see the difference.
III.BM's HUMIDOR CURING PROCESS -
1. Dry harvest on hanger lines for six to ten days.
2. Cure in jars for two weeks to get the bulk of the remaining nuets and chlorophyll smell out.
3. Move to humidor for slow curing for three to six months.
4. Move into final storage container, in my case black ceramic jars.
I am really milking this stan. I am in the process of doing my third harvest. Return of the clones. I saved two clones to try to clone the clone and maybe stressing a plant out so I can get some seeds from it. So this whole series could potentially be 5 diaries long. Stay tuned.
