Butterbean Birdseed - Purple People Eater & Blue Banner, Coastal Mary - Strawberry Cheese
Imbibed in water for 4 hours, till they sank, then placed in paper towel on a seedling warming mat. Once cotyledons opened, started on Cronk Calmag and Sticky Bandit. EC 300-400 over the first week with PH in 5.8-5.9 range.
Good week, discovered my light was too close during seedling stage, which may have stunted my plants. That being said, they grew well this week. Started LST last night. May have over watered the last couple days. Leaves dropping a bit. Still growing noticeably every time I check though. Will adjust watering a bit and see how they respond.
Good growth this week. Had some issues with over watering in the Blue Banner plant, which has been limping a bit. LST has been going well. Decided to take off a couple fan leaves at the bottom that were starting to yellow, and a couple other leaves near the bottom that I didnt really need around. May have a bit of a Nitrogen deficiency in all 3 plants to adjust next week, but nothing to serious I don't think.
ADVICE WELCOME! I'm a new grower and I knew leaving my plants for 3 days while out of town was going to be bad. I made sure the Coco was fertigated and saturated before I left, and I had a buddy come water them the third day, but they went 2.5 days without water. The dehumidifier was full after 24hrs as well, which caused the humidity to go from 55ish to 65ish. On my return home they did not look happy. A lot of sad, droopy, curled leaves. I've got them back on a regular feeding schedule the last few days, and the dehumidifier is back on. They are perking up a bit, but 2 of them still look quite sick. Any advice from the community would be welcome and greatly appreciated :)
Plants really took off this week. Advice I got last week really working great. Because they arenin Coco, I am feeding them everyday instead of alternating feed and straight Ph'd water. Ph-ing to between 6.1 and 6.2. It has made a huge difference. Did a little top down defoliation and the buds are popping up rapidly.
All 3 plants are coming along very nicely and are really starting to stack on buds. The Butterbean Birdseed Blue Banner and the Coastal Mary strawberry cheese in particular have been a pleasure to grow. Both smell incredible, and are forming multiple fat, dense colas. The Purple People Eater is catching up in the bud department, but is now forming nice golf balls up and down all of her stems. Looking forward to the last few weeks here before harvest.
Calyxes are starting to fatten up. Trichomes are building nicely on all 3 plants this week. The aroma in the tent is getting stronger daily. Switching to a lighter nutrient feed this next week before flushing. Really pleased with how flowering is progressing in all 3 plants.
Switched to a lighter feed this week, leading into flush. Did the lighter feed for 5 days, and have been flushing for 2 days now. Will play by ear this week, but I see 1 more week of straight PH'd water and then it may be time to cut them down. Very pleased with their progress. All the plants have stacked flowers, which have swollen nicely and are coasted in resin. The fade is kicking in and the flowers are starting to get some beautiful colour to them. Should be interesting to see what they look like in a week.
Been flushing for 10 days. Still got some gas in the tank, but we are close. Ripening nicely. Just waiting for a few white hairs to do their thing, and some traces of amber and they are ready to come down.
