Had some low PH issues in my drain. And was scared that it could be root rot or salt buildup. As a solution ive made some DIY Hypochlorous acid.
Ive also ordered Athena Cleanse but it took a while and in the meantime ive used the DIY which had the exact same smell than the Athena. In hindsight Cleanse is a pretty expensive mix of water and salt.
But anyways. It helped immediately. Brownish roots at the bottom at the block turned white again and PH normalized. Plants looked healthy all the way, even with a PH of 4.0 in my drain.
