This pheno was starting to show pre-flower right at the end of the week. I'm not really impressed with the speed of this one. Right now it's on par with a photo period strain for growth.

@LockDownGrow, nice i topped one of mine in the recent diary and hoping it does just that, i was hoping it would knuckle? but i snapped it completely off haha! Still bouncey and happy though. I think also it matters how much of a variance there is in the ambient room - my ambient room is 19~20c and 60RH and my groom is 55% currently and 29~30c and my substrate is 25c, so if i fully open the door to do the chores, it drops to about 25c air temp, 50% humidity and substrate drops to 20~21c, so in fairness i think the less variance there is in the ambient room when opening will mean less slowing/stunting... similar case for you or?

@OrganicConnoisseur420, yours looks really nice too , I accidentally hst my top stem on my blackberry at week 4 or 5 and at the time I was like shit ! But she loved it , didn't slow , didn't droop , and now have lots of tops

@LockDownGrow, fully agree with you, im on my 3rd grow now and have definitely noticed this, the 1st and 2nd grow i couldnt leave them alone, probs in the tent 3~4 times a day on the regular, now i literally just open once every 2~3 days and they just give massive growth, check the diary out growdiaries.com/diaries/24819-the-fruit-of-eden

Looks like you stripped her abit too much , Bud looks nice though , and my god didn't she stretch

@LockDownGrow, Yeah I agree that it is. I try to think of a genetic as a family with the different phenos being sisters. I notice more variation with autoflowers than with photoperiod strains.

@Sgtoso, yea I looked at your pics when younger , it's crazy how different the same strain can look on here

@LockDownGrow, I didn't strip anything off of this girl at all. That's her in her natural state. I will, however, be removing all the dead leaves sometime before the next watering. Cheers!

@LockDownGrow, She's got one to 2 weeks left judging by the trichomes.

@The_Projexx, It is staying in veg a little longer than I'd like, at least this pheno is... Next week's update she's definitely flowering now at 45 days. I like the structure and the thickness of the stalks. The flower node spacing is average. I think she has the potential to stack on some decent weight. I'm looking forward to testing the terpene profile when she's finished!

Sgtoso
Sgtosocommented6 years ago
@HighTV, I'll be using a combination of Primordial Solutions in veg and then switching over to Advanced Nutrients.

Nice journal mate, I've just started some Cali Snow myself and hoping to see some nice flowering like on yours! I've just entered week 5 on my oldest so I'm a while off compared to you, I have followed to keep updated as looking forward to check out your harvest! Peace

do u defoliate a lot?
Sgtoso
Sgtosocommented6 years ago
@@grzesiek, Depends on the plant. I didn't defoliate this one much if at all. She stretched out really fast and I'm getting decent light penetration all the way down to the pot.

i assume that is an autoflower...............................how do you know that it is a 4th week of flower now?.....................................hiram bullock
Sgtoso
Sgtosocommented6 years ago
@@grzesiek, You are correct that it is an autoflower. I observed the pre-flowers develop and watched the plant transition from veg to flower. That happened 4 weeks ago.
