This will be the last round I can grow outside this season. I wanted to try different training techniques on the same strain.
I've only done low-stress training so far and managed to stab some of the young leaves and pistils with my soft garden ties. I know being too precious with my plants because they absolutely do not care if they've been stabbed or not and usually manage to right their main colas like 30 minutes after bending before continuing to bush out. Point is if I have a backup plant that's just being its little Christmas tree self, I may feel comfortable topping the other. Sad update: since one failed to germinate, I'll probably just train the other two.
So far the seeds have been a little wonky. I think the third one isn't going to be viable after getting stuck in its shell for five days. I tried manually freeing it, but it's just a white mass with no signs of cotyledons. This is really disappointing because I've managed to germinate everything I've tried to so far. This is my first time with FastBuds, so maybe what I've been doing (soaking in water for 12 hours and then into a wet paper towel in a ziploc hung vertically) doesn't work for them. At least I have the other two.
Trust the process. Lst works .be Patient. I start at week 4-5 and the effect is stunning. Im week 7 now with Autos outdoor. Every Auto has 4-6 extra branches developed. 👌
