For this seed, I soaked in PH 6.5 water for 24 hours. After 12 hours, I tapped the glass to let the seed sink. After 24, it had cracked and started showing a tiny taproot. I placed it in a paper towel until the taproot had grown a bit, and then sprinkled Great White (mycorrhizae) into a General Hydroponics rapid rooter. I then dig out a little hole in my soil and pop it in. I've found this to be an excellent way to get my seedlings a nice headstart without having to use a lighter soil blend for the seedling versus whats in my pots (Buildasoil 3.0). This seed was under the Mars 1000 in my veg room while some other plants finished up in the flowering tent, but I will probably move this into the flower tent once it's clear as I'm still in the process of getting a perpetual harvest set up.

All is well so far. Only thing I've done since sprout is water every two days. No nutrients or training have been applied.

Successfully mainlined her today. This is a pretty fast-flowering strain and my first attempt at mainlining. So far I am happy with it, but I'm going out of town next week and having a friend water my plants, so hopefully I come back to a happy girl.

I was out of town, but had an experienced friend keep an eye on the garden. She grew a bunch (maybe a little too much, but oh well), and is showing thrips. I have some predator mite hung to eat em all. I tied down the branches and gave her a nice topping. I'm thinking I'll be able to top and tie her one more time by the end of week 5 if I'm lucky. I did crack the stems a tiny bit when I tied her down, so we will see how that affects growth.

After topping and tying down on the 31st, I feel like she's made a nice recovery and has really started growing quickly in the past 2 days. I am hoping to be able to top and tie her one more time this week before she finishes preflower. I did add a tiny but of foundation and grow to the soil, as well as Fish Sh!t and some blackstrap unsulphered molasses to keep the micros happy. The hay was kinda pissin me off, so I ordered some rice hulls so that I can move them around to access the soil without as much mess as the hay.
11/05 edit - Decided not to top again because I'd rather be safe with this one. There's always next time for 8.

Everything is going well it seems. She has really shown a ton of pistil growth in the past few days. I'm going to top dress with some buildaflower when it arrives this week, and then lay down some rice hulls. I've also got a time-lapse pointed at the Double Grape and will post it at the end of the week. Happy growing everyone.
11/15- End of week six, top dressed with BuildaSoil Craft Blend and BuildaFlower as well. Added rice hulls for cover crop. Also added the timelapse for the week.

Top dressed with build a soil craft blend and buildaflower early in the week. Fed a buildabloom compost tea at the end of the week. Didn't take any pictures this week but I did put the timelapse up.

She's still stretching a bit and is starting to really get frosty. So far, she's been a breeze to grow. I'm still finding the occasional thrip, so I have some predatory mites hanging onto one of the branches, so that should take care of them.
11/27 added nematodes because fuck these thrips

This was fun from beginning to end. I learned a lot and ended up with all Grade A buds that were nice and frosty. I think I'll be mainlining from here on out - the quality of the buds is just too good, even if it means sacrificing some yield with an autoflowering strain. I did switch to BuildASoil nutrients in flower which is basically coconut water + 2-10-5. This was one of 6 plants in my 4x4, so I'm pretty happy with the 81 gram yield, especially with it being my first time mainlining.
