Germinated three seeds using the paper towel method and all seeds popped and had long tap roots by the time I planted them in red solo cups. I started these seeds in happy frog by Fox Farms. By day 2, two of the plants were already showing green leaves, but the third was showing both sides of a root coming out of the soil. I gave it a couple days and had no luck, so I dug it out and kinda flipped it around. Thought it was going to die but it bounced back fairly quick. By day 6, all three plants had leaves and were growing well.
Plants did get a bit leggy so I also upped the light intensity. Running them in my 2x2 and two of them will eventually go in my 2x4, while the small leggy one will go into my outdoor grow with some autoflowers.
May 20th - May 25 (Germination time)
May 25th - May 31st
Seedlings got a little stretchy by day 7 (may 26)
Increased light intensity to 50% at 18 inches away with 100 watt s22
Growing nicely, waiting for the one gallon pot. Environment is stable
Day 14-20 June 1-June 7
Plants looking healthy, especially the little guy bouncing back
Transplanted into one gallon pots (June 5th) with coast of Maine stonington blend mixed with a small amount of happy frog to make it a bit fluffier. I plan on topping as soon as I see some growth in the new pots.
June 8th - June 14th
Day 21 (June 8th)
-Raised light to the top of the 2x2 and increased light intensity to 100%
Day 22 (June 9th)
-Starting to see some real growth after transplanting. Will probably be topping very soon. Plant #3 is growing a ton, just super dwarfy and lanky.
Day 24 (June 11th)
-Decided to top both plants today, even though plant one is having some sort of issue. Seems to be either an overwatering, wind, or nitrogen problem. Could also be a root / Transplant issue. Will keep a close eye on it.
June 15 - June 22nd
June 17 Day 30
Okay so plants have been looking okay. Still slower than normal growth. Pretty sure I had a combination of win burn / too much light. Also had to retop plant number two due to be breaking one of the main stems off of the new growth. Oh well. Today, I tied down plant 1 to start some good LST. Light is at 90% at around 22 inches.
