Hello everyone, it's Lava Cake's turn. We'll see how her growth goes, as I heard she's one of the smallest autoflowers from Zamnesia. As a germination method, I put the seed in a glass of water for 24 hours and in a paper towel for 24 hours. With that method I have a 100% success rate 3/3. Happy growing everyone and good luck
This time, things didn't go well. The first two days I kept her in my little tent but she didn't have enough light to grow. Watermelon candy
was too big and the light couldn't penetrate it at all. I wanted to put it next to the window, but for the last 5 days it has been raining non-stop. I just wasn't lucky at that moment. There was simply no sun at all and it was dark next to the window. That's why I decided to improvise a cardboard box in which I put a 17w light bulb. You can imagine that 17w was not enough, I kept my small plant under a dome because of humidity and I had to lower the light to only 15cm to reach about 200 ppfd and to prevent stretching. So I grew her for the next 3 days. As you can see in the pictures, it is a little burnt due to the light being too close. I finally freed my tent and took her back for 6 days. I don't know what consequences it will have and I don't know if he will manage to recover.
I have been watering with water this week and it looks much better. And day 10 I switched my light to bloom (I know I could have done it on day 1 but I prefer to do it on day 10). Last week I forgot to mention that 1 liter of Biobizz light-mix put one gram of GUANO ALGUAMYCOR. This is for good root development and so that the roots can better take the food it needs. It is recommended to add 10 grams per liter of substrate, but I will add a little more when I transplant it. As you can see in the picture, I put the bag in a plastic box because it smells a lot. It smells like algae and like an aquarium. It smells like small fish pooping in an aquarium. 🤮🤮🤮
on the eighteenth day, I transplanted it into a 9-liter pot. In the pot I first put 5 liters of plagron light with 10 grams of guano diffusion insect ferss. Then I put 4 liters of biobizz light with 15 grams of guano diffusion alguamycor. When transplanting, I noticed that the roots grew well. For the next week I will do the topping and the lst
After 25 days, I decided to make a topping. This time I started with 10 branches and not 8 as in the previous grow. I did that because as I mentioned the Lava Cake is very small. And on the 28th I did Lst and defoliation. For now, everything is going according to plan
As usual, in the fifth week there was flowering. I can't believe how small LAVA CAKE is, it's only 32cm tall. On the thirty-fourth day, I made a big mistake, I wanted to repair the LST, and on that occasion I broke a 3 cm tip from the most beautiful branch. 🙈When I say that I broke it, I mean that I broke it completely, that 3 cm tip was holding on to its branch with a 1 mm thick skin. I straightened it right away and I hope it will heal. I know there is no such thing as perfect growth, but if I could just stop making shit up, it would be so much better
I noticed this week that she still has no scent. It's a little surprising that after 6 weeks and 2 weeks of flowering, she still hasn't released any scent. And of course I should mention that it is only 35 cm tall, I don't think I have ever seen such a small plant, but the flowers will probably be very large
