These are the components of my soil for the True Living Organics (TLO) portion. I then add 2 parts of Promix to 1 part of this soil.
I am doing this because auto's can be sensitive to nutrients and I want to start at 1/3 to see how they react. I will only give water and the occasional tea for vegging and flowering. Depending on needs as well in case I see some deficiency.
I did not add the ratios of each as "The Rev" author of TLO growing puts these in his book and I don't feel it's right to do so.
Cheers
Started them in in 24 water then put in wet paper towel till sprouted. Then placed in 1/3 TLO 2/3 Promix soil mix I made.
They are in red cups till week 3 when I transplant to 3gal bags with same ratio. I am also doing one in 50/50 mix and one in 100% TLO to see how they handle it.
Week 3 transplanted and added mycorizhea to hole i dug so roots come in contact with it. They have taken off and are looking great IMO. Just feeding water as the TLO soil should have everything to support them. However I diluted TLO soil 1/3 as I didn't want to burn them since auto need less. Figure I can add if I see they need anything.
Only issue I see is my humidity stays at 25% even though house is at 45%.... not sure what to do about this as I don't want to get a humidifier but I fear I might...... Any other suggestions to get it up?
Everything seems to be going well and not much to say..... Will rearrange based on height to make it easier to water as I cant really get around left side lol.
Still just water....
So happy with how they are growing and still only giving water when most pots feel very light. Monitoring to see if they are deficient in anything but so far so good.
Starting to get Fungus Gnats though.... Any suggestions?
So far they are all still looking great and I am happy with them. Have to water every 3-4 days as I am only giving about 1.5L
started to notice what looks like a magnesium deficiency on the Durban poison leaves so gave some cal-mag. The Rev says he gives this sometimes in his book. I am also thinking about giving a flowering tea but since they all look good I may wait on this.
Do you guys think it is magnesium deficiency?
Starting to get really stinky and most are full out flower mode now. Switched to 1000W HPS
Most aren't as tall as I would like but they have great flower and resin production
I gave them a flowering teas from the TLO book which I adjusted by adding more soluble kelp for K and High P bat guano for P. The recipe was 2.23-1.3-1.7 when I calculated it and so after I was done with it was more like 2.12-6.61-3.7. I did dilute it 2x more though so I dont risk burning the plants.
Have given cal/mag with last two waterings in case they are deficient in wither based on what I saw on some leaves last time. won't add in the next few.
Any advice feedback is always appreciated!
Cheers
The Durban Poison and CBD Compassion Lime plants all look done and will get harvested in a couple of days. I am going to go away and I don't want to leave them for another 10 days. A little disappointed with the size of them. Especially the CBD strain but guess its also the luck of the draw when it comes to autos.
The rest can still go another 10-14 days.
Auto Mazar are well behind and will likely need another month to be finished. Starting to get bushy and flowers are starting to fatten and fill in slowly.
This is certainly my best run and im very pleased with the crystals all over these guys. super frosty ans stinky!
Super easy to grow and by far some of the largest auto's ive done.
Gave water except for 1 veg and 1 flower tea. 2 feedings had cal/mag as well.
plants are very frosty with great formation on main stem.
Not super stinky yet but perhaps some smells will come out after curing.
For last few weeks I had issues with Temp getting to 30 and down to 17. Not good for the plants and it looks like it turned two of the Think Different plants into Hermie's. You can see "bananas" in the pics but if someone think they are something else let me know.
Mazar's are still quite a bit behind the others and I expect those to go another few weeks. Gave them a veg tea with just soluble kelp and meal mix bloom.
Pineapple express is coming down soon and the last TD will come down in a week or so.
Just water apart from the tea I gave the Mazars
