Black Rainbow (LIT Farms)

Another slow starter 🤷‍♂️😒 Not seen much growth from this seedling since the last update, appears to be a bit of a runt. Her leaves look slightly mutated and she’s definitely not growing at a normal rate. I soaked another seed lastnight and placed it in some tissue in a food bag. By this afternoon the seed had cracked and the tap root was out. I’ve planted the seed in a 1ltr pot with some coco/perlite. I’m going to keep growing the original plant I started, but hoping this new seedling will be a more viable candidate 😸 Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚

All appears well with these Ladies 😸 I say Ladies, because the second seed I started has germinated and is now growing. Unfortunately one of her initial leaves broke off with the seed casing, but it doesn’t appear to be slowing her down much. The initial plant I started is still growing albeit slowly, but appears to be picking up a bit now. I’ve started her on a weak nutrient feed and will monitor her progression. All appears well enough with these Girls. Both plants are growing extremely slow compared to other strains I’ve grown. I’m assuming it’s the genetics as everything else in the tent is growing at a normal rate 🤷‍♂️ I’m continuing to train the bigger plant, not much else to do with these 🤷‍♂️ taking forever to do anything 🤦‍♂️ They are both continuing on the same nutrient feed as last week and appear healthy. The second plant was repotted into a 1 gallon pot, she also appears to have recovered and has grown a bit. Into flower we go! 😸 I decided to put these plants into flower a day or so ago. Ive put some support canes in for one of the plants. Hoping to train the main stems up them to a point. I’ve removed everything below a certain point. Left a couple of side branches on each stem to grow up the middle (hopefully) The other plant is being left to grow naturally (for now 😸🤷‍♂️) I’ve increased the amount of nutrients both plants are receiving and they appear healthy. I removed a good amount of fan leaves and some lower branches that would never make it to canopy level. They are both continuing on the same nutrient feed as last week and appear healthy. All appears well with this Lady 😸 Unfortunately the same can’t be said for the taller plant 😿 I had to cut her down a day or so ago. When I noticed the bud sites start to form I gave both plants a quick defoliation session. While trimming the bigger plant I found 4 male flowers on the main stem 🤦‍♂️ Down to one 🤷‍♂️ She’s continuing on the same nutrient feed as last week and appears healthy. All appears well with this Lady 😸 I pulled her out yesterday and gave her a quick defoliation session, I mainly wanted to check her over for any signs of herming, but found non 👍😸. Her buds continue to develop at a steady rate. I’ve started adding some PK boost to her feed at 2ml/ltr. I plan on alternating her feeds with/without the boost, as to not let excess salts build up in the coco. Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚

All appears well with this Lady 😸 Her buds are continuing to mature at a good rate. They feel fairly solid to the touch, really happy with the trichomes coverage! Almost every leaf is dusted! Not sure what to make of this one smell wise. She’s definitely got a good amount of fuel packed in her, but also a sharpe fruity smell. I can’t just compare her to anything at the moment, hopefully I’ll have a better idea come harvest time 😸 She’s continuing to flush for at least another week. I’ve harvested this Lady at day 58 of flower. She’d had a couple of weeks flush and appeared pretty much done. Overall I was quite surprised at the weight of each branch. The buds may appear small, but they weigh a considerable amount. The buds feel extremely dense to the touch. She’s got a lovely smell, it’s kinda sharpe, like a sour sherbet. The only thing I can compare it to is the Zoy Sauce I recently harvested, it has a very similar smell, but also its own unique subtleties. I honestly can’t wait to try her, if she’s anything like the Zoy Sauce it’ll be next level premium! I did however find around four fully matured and open male sacs just below a few of the top buds. I didn’t see them until I’d cut the branches 🤷‍♂️ hoping that won’t cause any pollination issues with the others in the tent 🤦‍♂️ She’s been cut into individual branches and hung in my drying tent. I’m aiming for between 10-14 days drying before a final manicure then into a jar for curing. I’d like to thank everyone who has had a look, commented or liked this diary.
