I just planted two Guava Auto seeds from Fast Buds. I’m using BuildASoil light recipe in 3 gallons. I used 1 cup of water for each pot, made a hole, put some Mykos, watered it in a bit then planted the seed. Any ideas when I should top dress it? I was told it should be good with this soil for at least the first 30 days. Should I use Craft Blend week 4 or 5? What’s the dose and how often? Just once? Same goes to BuildABloom and BuildAFlower. Should I use those as well? When, dose and how often? Just once? Is all of that too much or what should I use? Let’s see how this goes. It’s my first grow.

Build a soil has a schedule for all their amendments and when they're called for on their website. As well as Jeremy's youtube catalogue being a plethora of knowledge regarding his products.

From what I understand - the seed has enough nutrients stored to get through the first few weeks without any supplemental nutrients. If you plant into 'hot' or nutrient-rich soil, there's a chance you'll burn the plant with toxicities e.g. Nitrogen. Please take note - I have no experience with using your line of amendments, but I would wait to feed for a couple weeks at least. As long as your potting soil has enough drainage and has optimal moisture level to germinate, the plant will do the rest on its own. Also be sure to provide enough humidity and keep the little seedling in optimal temperature range - as they're vulnerable in their infancy. Good luck! Excited to see your progress.

@GuavaBoy Make sure you don't just leave them in the sun. Start about 4HR's /day and work your way up over a week. GL!

@resi_max, Just added another pic of the white/yellow one. It rained yesterday. Not doing too much. I planted Monday after it germinated in the paper towel. The shell fell off in the paper towel. What do you think since it’s Saturday now?

@GuavaBoy, seedling looks fine, the plant got her green from the sun. So a fresh seedling is not green, it will be green from the light.😋But it should not take longer than 5 days.

Hi m8, right now everything seems to be alright. Definetly check the RH humidity. If its too dry they are having a hard time getting the shell off. To get more moisture around the little ones, you could cuta plastic bottle. Take the lower part and put over the little ones to help them keeping the air humid around them. When they are small, they can not take a lot of water with their little roots. They take it from the leaf and air. I give them only 10ml - 30ml in the first days using these plastic needles which hold 10ml max. Only plain water no nutes. Happy growing!

@DutchJardinero, Thank you. Day 31: The first two to the left are autoflowers. They seem to have less branches below compared to the photos on the right. Will they continue to grow branches over the next few weeks? I love how they look for my first grow. Just curious

@ChillOSki, I’ll keep an eye out. My soil is still wet after a week. My basement is a little humid and cool. I gave a half cup of water each. Should I just wait it out?

Hello my friend. If I were you, I would water with a spray bottle so that the soil is always slightly moist, but don't overdo it. The colour of your seedling will change over time. Mine looked like this at the beginning. Good luck with your first grow ✌️

@BudBeezy, thank you but should I spray near the base at the stem? I was told to water in a ring about an inch away from the stem. Is that correct?

No worries, let nature do it's work, it will throw the shell off when it wants to.... I'm into week 6 now and I watered it just around the plant in week 2 , just make sure you spray the top layer like Budbeezy suggest😉 Good luck👊

You will find a significant percentage of loss between when you sow the seed and it makes it out of the seedling stage. always plan to lose a few. 😢

Are you sure you didn't get your beans mixed up Bro? The flowering plants look like auto's and photo's are just starting to show sex due to light hours. 😊 Regardless it looks great.

Plants look amazing. I’d top them now so the branches stretch more. The more they stretch you get more buds with each node that it grows

I would remove and leaves bigger than 2” across as they are sucking a lot of your nutrients to stay that size most of the time. Sometimes they help if you don’t have very many leaves during vegetation

The smaller ones are supposed to finish faster and the taller ones take longer but in the end it’s worth it because they will give u more buds don’t worry some of mine haven’t started flowering yet
