At weekend i will harvest my Phenos. There only 2 Autoflowers left.
7 out of 8 seeds have already germinated. The roots of the four have already grown out of the organic pot. I have now packed these into a 5 liter airpot pot. The others will follow as soon as I can see their roots.
Hey guys, I've been very busy. The plants also had a lot to balance. The plants suffered a lot in their 3 and 4 weeks. Starting with an infestation of Tripse. I successfully treated the plants with neem oil and still use it at least once a week. I was on vacation and my humidifier broke down and the plants were at 30C and 35% humidity for 3 days. But I think they recovered well! The pH value of the earth is around 5.8 all the time. I can't explain why. Because of the PH problem, the plants have a slight iron deficiency. I'm currently watering with tap water (PH /7) to stabilize the soil's PH value back to 6-6.5. It's a warm and hard summer for indoor cultivation ^^
I repotted from a 5L Airpod to a 20L Airpod. Since then they have all performed great. They are trained every other day except for the Sihiskaberry and the little AyuhascaPurple. It is going great for the warm conditions. I will wait until autumn to flower so that it is not so hot.
The plants look pretty good despite the heat. The dryness is bothering them a bit but the root system is strong enough!
I'll wait until it's colder again before they bloom.
After I repotted the plants, they grew really well and healthily for 12 days. Now they are showing iron deficiency again... I already had the problem before repotting. The pH value of the earth has fallen again to 4.8 to 5.7. This time I used biodegradable braids to germinate. I believe that this is the reason for the PH fluctuations in the soil. Every time I water I measure the PH and adjust it to 6 - 6.5. Nevertheless, the PH value drops back to 4 to 5. I'm trying to correct the problem.
I also work with neemoil because I can't get rid of the trips
That was 4 hours of wonderful work today. It was very meditative to prune every single plant. I try to get the PH value problems under control all the time...
Despite the harsh summer for the plants, some look very good. I have now ordered predatory mites for the thrips.
It's slowly time for the flowering phase :)
Yesterday I set the light to 12/12. I would have liked to wait until the plants had recovered, but I just don't have any more room in the tent because the hydroponics from my other slide are growing into a monster. I will now treat the plants with BAC Palnt Vitality Plus. I can't get rid of the thrips and the stuff is supposed to work wonders. I am very excited. The pH value of the soil is now finally at 6 -6.5 I think the plants will still perform well. We'll see
The plants have stopped stretching. The Ph value keeps falling so I add PH + every time I pour and water with a PH value of 8 xD. I'm thinking about buying a small 100 watt LED panel. The light distribution is very uneven
I've finally managed to stabilize the PH value at around 6. The lamp has been running at 600W for 10 days. It gets really warm in the tent but the buds get nice and thick :)
Or do you prefer 400W then I can keep the temperature better at around 24 degrees
It's slowly coming to an end. I check the trichomes every 3 days. Most are still glassy. I think the first two plants that are ready to harvest will be RedHotCookies #2 and Ayahauscapurple #1
The buds are slowly getting thicker^^
I got an upgrade. The AC Infinity fan. Great impression so far. In the future I will get the complete AC infity set. Exhaust air, controller, humidifier so that I can set the VPD correctly in the future.
The first plants will be harvested at the weekend. The Red Hot Cookies #2 is ready!
She gets 1x osmosis water and then she is removed from the tent! I'm really looking forward to the results
The two Red Hot cookies were by far the fastest strains in this run. And also simply beautiful.
Bag appeal: 10/10
Yield: 8/10 Pheno #1 47 gram dry
Taste:?
High: ?
Once I did a smoke test. I will add the missing information! Pheno number #2 has significantly more yield than Pheno #1.
Pheno #2 smells like bubble gum, I've never had that smell with a strain before. If I had room for a mother tent, pheno#2 would have gotten a spot there.
I'm looking forward to the next harvests !:)
I'm glad that this grow is slowly coming to an end. There are currently 2x Sherbelato Cake and 1x Ayahausca Purple & 1x Candy Bubatz in the Tent.
Next time I will only grow in water.
