My 1st one

EugEugEug Because we had to travel unexpectedly, I installed this watering system. It's actually for regular flowers, so that the soil automatically draws the water with the capillary effect.

EugEugEug Looks good. The watering has proven effective and will be maintained.

EugEugEug A few days ago, I topped it. It handled it well.

EugEugEug I've gradually put together the accessories. The first grow box was homemade from a lawnmower box, "wallpapered" from the inside with aluminum adhesive foil. So far, I've only used regular tap water. No problems with limescale.

EugEugEug The new filter has arrived on time. With the flowering, the smell has intensified enormously.

EugEugEug I removed some of the fan leaves to let light in everywhere. Was that too early? I also switched the lighting to 20/24 so it can recover at night. It hasn't grown much in the last few weeks. But as far as I understand, it can still shoot up by 200% to 300%. Let's see :) I switched to manual watering.

EugEugEug No major changes. New stamps have appeared at the nodes. At first, I thought it was hermaphroditic. I definitely need to reduce the humidity. I increased the exhaust performance today.

EugEugEug Since the little girl isn't developing further, I finally got some nutrients. I also treated myself to a new lamp in the middle of the week. An SF1000 from SpiderFarmer. It's running at full power. The cheap Chinese lamp promised a lot more than it delivered. I also bought a pH meter. pH at 8.8 :( not good for the little plant's development. Just bought downer and upper as well. Update: I removed a few popcorn buds from the bottom so that the energy goes into the big buds. Tried one right away and laid the rest out to dry. The one hits pretty hard already, even though almost all the trichomes are clear.

EugEugEug The buds are getting thicker and the leaves are slowly changing color. The little plant seems to be nearing the end. Many trichomes on the upper buds are already milky. Down below, they are still quite clear. Almost no amber trichomes present. Light intensity reduced to 80% (about 160 watts). I'm going on vacation in 1.5 weeks and will probably cut them down and hang them to dry by then at the latest. Since the vacation only lasts a week, the drying time should work out.

EugEugEug Not much new to report. The leaves are changing color towards lilac. Still some clear trichomes. I removed two lower branches and hung them up to dry for the upcoming vacation :)

EugEugEug The last week.

EugEugEug I could have maybe waited another week for the harvest since only a few trichomes were amber. But because I had to go on vacation the next day, I harvested. Due to the vacation, I have high hopes for a slow and gentle drying process (hopefully, the temperature will drop to 20 degrees). That's why I didn't trim it wet, but hung it up whole. The dry weight is 23 grams. With what I already took off beforehand, it totals 24 grams. That’s more than enough for me until the next round. The hardest part will probably be having to wait at least another month after drying until everything is properly fermented and cured. I'm already dreading that. I'm sure I'll sneak a taste here and there.
